I do quite like the Extra series, definitely discovered a few flops that don't really appear on other compilations much. Desperate for them to get to the 1990s, but not sure they will any time soon, if they are planning that at all.

That’s what irritates me so much about this series as a whole is that they love to rinse the 80’s era of practically any song released and forgotten about, all because the tracks probably cost next to nothing to license anymore. Perhaps too they assume, incorrectly, that only those who grew up with 80’s music are the only audience who still buy CD’s or vinyl’s anymore. :angry:

They’ve had songs appear in the series which should’ve appeared two or three volumes ago prime example

 

The Greatest Showman songs from NOW 102 should’ve appeared on NOW 99. They might skip "Woman" and include "Get Into It (Yuh)" instead

The lack of 90s themed albums is heartbreaking. Having said that all of the ones they've released have been great

They need to stop milking the 70s and 80s and focus more on the 90s and 00s

I can only see them including one song from Encanto, I doubt they will include Adele and "Seventeen Going Under" is on NOW 110. And as for Mimi Webb, they’ll include "House On Fire" and give "24/5" a miss

Id totally forgotten sam fender was on 110 thanks for the heads up. I just think encanto is so popular I'll be very surprised if surface pressure isn't also on there. But licensing is a huge issue as well.
