Another NOW spin-off due for release on 17th February titled NOW Dance: The 80s https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BS6QGH41

I have both NOW Dance 86 (vinyl) and 89 (Cassette) and the early 90s ones.

It’s rumoured amongst some from a Facebook group I follow that Now are lining up a release of Now Dance 80’s or it could be year specific. Again, it’s just more proof if it’s true that they just aren’t prepared to leave this decade alone.

So this was indeed proven to be true then. At least it does appear to be a stand alone release, but didn’t they also release these similar albums just a couple of years ago;

NOW That’s What I Call 12” 80s: Remixed https://amzn.eu/d/5bl3p0N

NOW That's What I Call 80s: Extended https://amzn.eu/d/6c49eaU

It’s just another case of same songs repackaged in another guise. They probably have tons of other 80’s stuff locked away for more pointless releases in the future. It wouldn’t be as bad if these were digital releases but the fact they keep releasing physical copies of the same formulas time after time is really irritating.

NOW have uploaded on their social media pages a purple background which is hinting that it could be 1978 or 1986. I hope it’s 1986 but if it’s 1978, I hope it goes 1978, 1986, 1977, 1987, 1976, 1988, 1975 and 1989

Looks like it’s NOW Yearbook 1986 that’s due for release on 24th February https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BSNNLXVQ They’ll have to release the extra on 24th March as I doubt they’ll do it on 31st March as that’s when NOW 114 will be due or 7th April due to it being Good Friday. That is the track listing for the vinyl version. The CD version has been published https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BSNMD1KV

I have made a list of omissions which I hope appear on NOW Yearbook Extra 1986

They’ll have to release Extra Yearbook 1986 on 24th March as they can’t release on 31st March because that’s when NOW 114 is due and I can’t see them releasing on 7th April either with it being Good Friday and too soon after NOW 114. I reckon Extra Yearbook 1986 will arrive on 24th March or 14th April
Quite a good tracklist, most Number Ones of the year all accounted for apart from Madonna and Spitting Image which they won't have the rights to. I think Living Doll will definately be on the extra edition.
I also made a list in one of my earlier posts the potential songs which could appear on NOW Yearbook Extra 1986, NOW Yearbook 1985-1989 or NOW Yearbook Extra 1985-1989. Also, NOW Yearbook Extra 1980-1984 has been pushed back a week for some unknown reason

And with Now 15 slipping through my letter box this afternoon, I have now completed my collection of the numbered Nows on CD.

Wow T Boy congratulations! I need that volume on CD along with 14 and 16 to complete my collection!! :o

I had to pay £40 quid for it! Now they’re releasing them, they’re going really high-cheaper to get the vinyl! But I just couldn’t wait to complete the series now that I was so close.

The re-release of NOW 15 in the summer will probably have missing tracks. I’m glad I completed my collection of numbered NOWs in 2021 when NOW 9 was re-released and my NOWs 10-13 are all first edition releases. Also, the next spin-off is NOW 60s Pop and it’s due for release on 10th March https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BTN6HGCF

According to fan sites the spin off teased earlier this week is ‘Now That’s What I Call 60’s Pop’ out on March 10 on 4 CD and 3 Vinyl.
I reckon we’ll get NOW Yearbook Extra 1986 on either 24th March or 14th April. I can’t see us having it on 31st March because that’s when NOW 114 and the re-release of NOW 14 are both due and I can’t see us having it on 7th April because it’s Good Friday and only a week after NOW 114. And also, why include "Pretty In Pink" on 1986 when it appeared on 1981?
