Not sure what this might mean, but my hope is the announcement for the next Yearbook volume (1981 or 1985 is most likely).

And the 00s. The 00s is a decade of music which seems to be shelved

Knowing the past behaviour of the label, they will likely get as far as mid-90’s and then start a new spin off series because the cost of licensing songs in the last 30 years is too expensive. Please can I be proven wrong though as I want to have a “complete” series of years.

Of course because 1985 is forwards and 1981 is backwards. That said, it wouldn’t feel like a “complete” set without the years 1980 and 1981 (like they did for the millennium series) because 1982 isn’t a relevant year for the Now series seeing as it began in 1983.

I want them to go forwards and I hope NOW Yearbook 1980 is the last time they go backwards but I prefer NOW Yearbook 1985 after this. The best thing about 1981 is that "Physical" is on there. Shame "It’s My Party" and "Shaddap You Face" aren’t on there. Hopefully, they will be on NOW Yearbook Extra 1981

If they are averaging 3 yearbook releases a year (together with the “extra” editions), then we will have to wait until late 2024 for them to begin the 90’s. It’s a long wait.

I'd love to see 90s and 00s editions too but I am happy about this 1981 release in the mean time as a big fan of new wave/post punk stuff - disc 1 and 4 :wub:

I'll start buying them when they get to 1987

Watch them release 1979 before 1985. :kink:

They’ll release another spin-off on 3rd or 10th June on the run up to Father’s Day

They should release them based on what year we're in. So since this is 2022 the releases should go:

 

NOW Yearbook '82

NOW Yearbook '92

NOW Yearbook '02

NOW Yearbook '12

 

And then move onto the the 3's in 2023 and so on. Would LOVE to see what would make NOW Yearbook '02 - perhaps we should all collaborate and make it together
