Posted March 16, 20223 yr Ed’s confirmed that he will release a new album this year... but it will not be ‘Minus’! He’s said that it’s a ‘curveball record’, and the first single is out in 10 days. No 7. Collaborations Project perhaps? A metal album? We shall wait and see. @1503977966937817088 He also recently confirmed to an Australian news channel that we can expect ‘Minus’ before his tour reaches Down Under in February 2023. So expect two albums from Ed this year!
March 16, 20223 yr 10 days?? Omg wut. The man never stops does he :drama: I look forward to hearing it though
March 16, 20223 yr Fun few months of midweeks threads coming up then, wonder who will be the first to call him desperate x
March 16, 20223 yr Maybe its the album with Aaron Dressner, he said they wrote 25 songs together recently Dressner is of course the National guy buy also the producer of Taylor's Folkore... I'm calling it, Edklore is coming :D
March 16, 20223 yr Author Maybe its the album with Aaron Dressner, he said they wrote 25 songs together recently Dressner is of course the National guy buy also the producer of Taylor's Folkore... I'm calling it, Edklore is coming :D That sounds more likely to be for ‘Minus’ though tbh
March 16, 20223 yr Capaldi should be back sooner than later, he's playing a festival here in Denmark in 3 months so should have a single out soon
March 16, 20223 yr BuzzJack salivating at the idea of us having 3 Ed Sheeran albums in the span of less than a year. I am mildly intrigued by him describing this next release as a 'curveball', here's hoping it'll be something a little less safe sounding than the '=' era (as much as I liked the singles from '=', he can afford to push the envelope just a little bit more xx).
March 16, 20223 yr This thread makes me wish Lewis Capaldi would hurry up and make a comeback… Things haven't quite got that bad yet...
March 16, 20223 yr Maybe the new album will include a drill track? He did sort of already release a drill track with the Fumez The Engineer/Tion Wayne/Central Cee remix of 'Bad Habits'!
March 16, 20223 yr if it's not Edklore, sure it has to be Project 7 then which will have all the biggest strs in the world duetting, the biggest push in the history of spotify ever but won't count as an album :D
March 16, 20223 yr So two new albums from Ed this year?! It's good timing though to be fair as he's done releasing all the singles from his current album - of which have been very successful and they will continue to hang around for ages in particular "Bad Habits". Strike while the irons hot! His streaming numbers at the end of the year will likely be huge. I assume he'll be far and away the most streamed artist globally this year if he does release two new albums. Excited to hear the lead single - I've liked every lead single he's release so far!
