April 1, 20223 yr Author 27 | 24 | 9th week Charli XCX featuring Rina Sawayama Beg For You 3rd single from CRASH Released: 28th January 2022 Label: Asylum Records UK Chart Statistics NE (10/02/2022) | 29-34-35-35-32-38-38-24-27 Sales: 90k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 03 Sales 46 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video hw_Gtwdnp1Q Biography Whether she’s penning defiantly joyous singles like “I Love It” or exploring her darker side, Charli XCX is proof that you don’t need to stay in one lane to become a massive success. Born Charlotte Aitchison in 1992 in Cambridge, England, to Scottish and Gujarati Indian parents, Charli took up songwriting at 14, lifting her stage name from her instant messenger handle. On the strength of her MySpace uploads and performances at London raves, she landed a record deal at 18, released the modestly successful darkwave cuts “Stay Away” and “Nuclear Seasons”, then hit the big time with 2012’s kiss-off anthem “I Love It”. Originally scrapped from her own album for being too poppy, the beat-pounding re-recording by Swedish duo Icona Pop quickly became a worldwide dance-floor favourite. Her goth-tinged debut album, 2013’s True Romance, and tracks like the psychedelic, Gold Panda-sampling "You (Ha Ha Ha)” soon positioned Charli as the missing link between Grimes’ freak scene, Lorde’s dark melodies, and Carly Rae Jepsen’s sweetness. Never one to repeat herself, she’s built a track record as a prolific songwriter and collaborator, penning hits for Iggy Azalea (“Fancy”) and Selena Gomez (“Same Old Love”) and working with the likes of Lil Yachty, David Guetta and BTS. She even followed up the 2019 eclectic, star-studded Charli with 2020’s intimate how i'm feeling now, an album written with fan input during her six-week pandemic quarantine. One thing is clear: Charli XCX’s creative drive and willingness to take risks has made her one of the most unique, enthralling artists of her era. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Charli XCX 2013 01 I Love It (Icona Pop feat. April 1, 20223 yr Author 26 | 28 | 29th week Ed Sheeran Shivers 2nd single from = Released: 10th September 2021 Label: Asylum Records UK Chart Statistics NE (23/09/2021) | 1-1-1-1-2-3-3-2-2-2-3-13-28-24-37-42-10-15-16-20-16-16-17-20-23-31-29-28-26 Sales: 1,200k+ Certification: 2x Platinum Status: Accelerated Chart Ratio 01 Sales 01 Audio Streaming 02 Video Streaming Video Il0S8BoucSA Biography There’s a lovely moment a little ways into Apple Music’s Songwriter documentary about Ed Sheeran in which Sheeran, jet-lagged and carrying a cup of tea, straggles out into a yard in Malibu at dawn, sits down at his laptop and begins writing a song about the moment right in front of him: the crisp air, the birdsong, the hot tea, the day ahead. He gets a full verse in, melody and all, then pauses. “Songs are weird things,” he says. “How so?” an interviewer asks. “They just come and go,” Sheeran says, smiling. “And they never give you any warning.” For Sheeran, they seem to come pretty reliably. Born in 1991 in Halifax, England, he started out gigging on the UK pub circuit before releasing his first studio album, +, in 2011, and has since become one of the most unstoppable singer-songwriters in music, forging a light blend of folk, pop, hip-hop and dance that feels slick but lived-in, intimate but universal. Whether on his own (“Sing”, “The A Team”, “Shape of You”, “Perfect”) or in collaboration with artists from Taylor Swift to Eminem to Justin Bieber, Sheeran has a unique ability to strike a chord that feels both bittersweet and redemptive, good-natured and genuine: the hopeless romantic who convinces you he might just be right. In 2017, he was made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, touching Prince Charles on the arm while shaking his hand—a breach of royal protocol, and an appealingly human one at that. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2011 03 The A Team -1- MILLION SELLER 2011 35 Hush Little Baby (Wretch 32 feat. Born and raised in 1994 in the northeastern English town of North Shields, the singer/songwriter first picked up a guitar at age 10 and began playing gigs locally as a teen to help support him and his mother. But it wasn’t until he started writing music for himself—rather than what he thought others wanted to hear—that everything started to click. That’s when he wrote his 2017 debut single, “Play God”, a propulsive, politically charged slice of indie rock. It came from a place of deep desperation, “a time where I was like, ‘I need to prove myself. I need to do something that cuts through,’” he told Apple Music. The track earned him a slot on BBC’s Sound of 2018 shortlist, which led to a deal with Polydor Records and the release of his acclaimed 2019 debut, Hypersonic Missiles, an album that channels modern-day anxiety through heartfelt heartland rock. His 2021 follow-up, Seventeen Going Under, hit even harder, pumped full of soaring arrangements and bold statements that continue to prove Fender’s power as a mighty millennial voice for the working class. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2019 89 Play God -1- 2019 48 Hypersonic Missiles -2- 2019 43 Will We Talk? -3- 2019 59 The Borders -IG- 2021 03 Seventeen Going Under -1- 2021 48 Get You Down -2- 2021 41 Spit Of You -3- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 7 x Top 100 Social Media Sam Fender http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

Agreed - I'm just indifferent, I feel the same about Heat Waves. Both are fine, but nothing about them stands out to be this sort of timeless classic they seem to both are starting to become.

April 1, 20223 yr Author 23 | 56 | 2nd week Potter Payper featuring Tiggs Da Author Gangsteritus Album track from Thanks For Waiting Released: 1st October 2021 Label: 0207 Records Chart Statistics NE (31/03/2022) | 56-23 Sales: 10k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio __ Sales 95 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video WWDhMRw6RVA Biography A lyricist through-and-through and staple of the U.K. underground, rapper Potter Payper built his career on candid reflections of the environment he was raised in. His sophomore mixtape, Training Day, took on an iconic role in the U.K. rap scene, compiling a cohesive and compelling collection of street-level narratives. Potter Payper (real name Jamel Bousbaa) was born and raised on the Gascoigne Estate in Barking, England, to an Algerian father and Irish mother. Though constantly embroiled in high-stakes street environment he found himself in, Payper worked on music in order to turn things around for himself and his family, so he began to develop his rap skills. His now-iconic lyricism and compelling wordplay were first showcased on his debut mixtape The Philosopher's Chrome, before the rapper caught the ears of the U.K. at large with his BL@CKBOX freestyle. His sophomore mixtape, Training Day, arrived in July 2013; often lauded as a modern classic of the U.K. rap scene, the project established the rapper's signature style, a blend of boisterous vocals, street narratives, and evocative production. In 2015, Payper dropped a third independent mixtape and an EP; while 24 saw him progress into the dominant sounds of trap, One Time (released via Grimey Limey) provided a more traditional seven-track set. The long-awaited sequel to Training Day arrived in 2016 with Training Day 2, which followed the first album's lyrical directions and classic-sounding beats. In 2018 the rapper's musical ambitions were cut short by a jail sentence: After releasing the mixtape Regina vs. Jamel Bousbaa, he found himself incarcerated while working on his sixth set, Real Back in Style. After his 2020 release, the rapper embarked on a period of immense productivity and success. Kicking off the year with the 2020 Vision EP, he returned to the game in full force, delivering a brutal freestyle for Daily Duppy later that year. The long-awaited Training Day 3 arrived in September 2020: modernizing the iconic approach of the previous two tapes, TD3 was the rapper's biggest success to date, landing a third spot placement on the U.K. charts. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Potter Payper 2020 41 2020 Vision Freestyle -1- 2020 64 Purpose -2- 2020 79 Science -1- 2020 100 Slumdog Millionaire -3- 2021 60 Topshottas Freestyle -NAS- 2021 70 Catch Up (feat.
