It just goes to show how much of an impact Todays Hits has on the apple chart as Tate is 4th on the playlist and Clean Bandit were moved up to 5th on Friday.

Good second day on Spotify for Harry. It’s a good song and would like to see it get 100k but it might need some downloads or physicals to back it up. Downloads don’t seem strong (only just outselling Bam Bam on ITunes which suggests about 3k for the week).

 

He was selling CD Singles on his website but they sold out by the Friday morning. No idea how many were available.

789K for Harry today.

Rose 10% WW (10.7M) and a bit more in the US, rose less than 5% in here. Again, great numbers, just saying it's more WW heavy.

He’s certainly gonna be #1 this week but the next few days of how well he holds up will determine whether it looks like it’s gonna be a 1 week #1 or multiple weeks.

In answer to my question a couple of days ago, think it’s safe to say it’s looking like a multi week #1! He’s held up really well and stabilised around the 700k mark on Spotify.

A random question - how is Latto - Big Energy charting officially in the UK when it is not on the Spotify top 200 or (at least as far as I can tell that Dan has posted) on the Apple top 200?

They count as much as they always have done since streaming came in! It just depends how many it sells :lol:

It does also have 2 versions that are presumably both getting a decent-ish number of streams, no way of knowing where the song would be charting with the original and the Mariah/Khaled remix combined. (The peak of downloads for the remix would have fallen into last week so I am a little surprised it's now showing up as high as #60 in the mids when it didn't chart last week but I guess it'll probably drop quite a bit by Friday)

She is selling like 100 copies a day on itunes max 200

So clearly its not cos of itunes that shes charting

More likely 2 versions on Spotify just outside the t200

It's had 2 versions charting all week on iTunes so it's likely to be selling 1k or so for the week, that could be the difference between it charting and not charting this week. That in addition to both the solo and remix likely getting some trickle streams below the top 200 of Spotify and Apple will be helping it chart but you can't disregard the downloads.
