May 14, 20223 yr So the DUP have refused to enter power sharing to protest against the IrishProtocol. Stating the breaking of the consensus principle of the GFA that btw the DUP didn’t support and walked out of the negotiations. When in reality the principle of consent was written regarding legislation going through the Stormont assembly not an international treaty negotiated between the British government and the EU. Also the Supreme Court confirmed this to be the case in the case against Jim Allistair. But sure don’t let the facts get in the way of creating your own narrative. Also let’s not forget most people voted for parties that didn’t oppose the protocol last week. Also their leader Jeffrey Donaldson only elected last week has decided to remain in Westminster as an MP so a week after he was voted in he’s allowed an unelected party member Emma Little Pengelly former MP for south Belfast co-opt his seat. Democracy eh? Edited May 14, 20223 yr by Steve201
