I remember that J Majik & Wickaman song being played quite a lot on Radio 1 back in the day so I was quite surprised at that being allowed through, although on inspection I see it did only chart at #37 so maybe it's not as well known as I assume it is...

 

There isn't anything else here that I immediately recognise although a few that I think I remember seeing in old charts. Scroobius Pip :cheeseblock:

I was surprised not to know many songs (except my own plus another couple), but I’m definitely looking forward to exploring this wonderful era. I hope my entry goes down well with everyone obviously, and I look forward to having a listen once the playlist is made available or on a future listenthrough. ^_^

Perfectly ok Addy! Maybe I can host a listenthrough on Monday evening unless that’s too soon for people, I know it’s still a bank holiday so perhaps not the best timing for many. I think Masquerade confirmations end on Monday evening too.

Listened to about half of the songs so far and already it's unearthed a couple of gems!

Voted. A strong edition, love my top three - which are all new to me, great discoveries.

 

The rest of my top ten comprised of a few other finds and quite a few songs I already know and love. One I didn't pay that much attention to when it was out but it sounds a lot better now!
