I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in Pop! But it's rockier than the likes of GAYLE, so I guess here for now.

 

Anyway, California singer Leah Kate is set to reach the Top 40 for the first time this week with '10 Things I Hate About You' thanks to taking off on TikTok! It's one of the best pop-punk things to take off on there in a while I think, I adore those drums just before the (catchy as hell) chorus.

 

Loving this a lot atm. It sounds like something that would easily be featured on a early 00's chick flick film.

A friend introduced me to this a while back so I'm glad it's now making waves in the charts

I first heard this as I saw her as a support act earlier this month. I can see why it's getting popular as it's very catchy and the lyrics seem perfect to go viral on TikTok.

 

I don't see her getting any further hits, all the other songs she performed sounded like inferior versions of the same track.
