May 1, 20223 yr A very static top 6 again  have to live with it unfortunately, moaner incoming. :P It could happen if they stop avoiding ACR all the time
May 1, 20223 yr Official chart company got do something with chart gone to slow get very boring now Yes they do. Get rid of streaming. Keep a combined streaming and sales chart and have singles chart back to sales only Edited May 1, 20223 yr by Hadji
May 1, 20223 yr there desperately needs to be a revamp of the acr rules as they don’t seem fit for purpose at the moment. although there’s only so much the occ can do when the joe public aren’t willing to move on from old songs quickly.
May 1, 20223 yr Yes they do. Get rid of streaming. Keep a combined streaming and sales chart and have singles chart back to sales only This is literally never going to happen
May 1, 20223 yr Yes they do. Get rid of streaming. Keep a combined streaming and sales chart and have singles chart back to sales only And have the #1 determined by about 500 sales? BTS would get it every week!
May 1, 20223 yr And numbers 26 to 100 would be tied with 1 sale Lol Hadji you hit a new low today At least there’d be more movement in the chart. Streaming is only increasing because it got added to the chart. Just think what would happen if streaming had not been added to the chart at all? I’d rather have a fast chart than a slow chart Edited May 1, 20223 yr by Hadji
May 1, 20223 yr At least there’d be more movement in the chart. Streaming is only increasing because it got added to the chart. Just think what would happen if streaming had not been added to the chart at all? If it wasn’t added then the chart wouldn’t be representative whatsoever of what’s actually popular at the moment.
May 1, 20223 yr And if the compilation chart never existed, you’d now be getting numbered NOW albums missing the #1 spot
May 1, 20223 yr And if my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike On a serious note, if streaming hadn't been included in the chart, it would STILL be the #1 method of consumption of music. The general public don't care whether they're contributing to the chart or not, they care that music is easier to access and much cheaper (or even free in some instances) than downloading everything or buying CDs.
