May 3, 20223 yr I want Cat Burns to get to #1 to tie the record for shortest title #1 with Telly Savalas haha
May 3, 20223 yr is Miley's like a prayer charting ? It's 68. Hope Ava can stay top 100 for Friday! Edited May 3, 20223 yr by Roba.
May 3, 20223 yr Disappointed with the positions for both Let's Eat Grandma and Röyksopp, as I posted in the iTunes album chart thread the other day I'd hoped they should both at least beat the positions of their previous albums but guessing that's pretty unlikely now as both are only slightly ahead of the mark for that even in the midweeks. Nevermind. Was to the moon taken off ACR? It had a new remix out this week with Fivio Foreign, M24, Russ Millions and G Herbo - not sure if that has been enough to put it back on SCR (/ triggered a manual reset) or if it's just boosted it enough to make a re-entry while still on ACR though. Acraze finally on ACR for the second time. Aitch not doing well- it's so much about the sample with these UK rap records it appears. Aitch has never been a consistent hit maker, I don't think the sample has that much to do with it - I guess the sample may have contributed to 'Baby' being a more hyped song but 'Rain' was similarly a big hit sandwiched between much lesser hits and that one didn't have a sample at all. Underwhelming sales for Blossoms, anyone know what their last album opened with? They opened with 22.5k last time so definitely coming for a bit of a dropoff with this. This is their first album that hasn't produced a top 100 single as well (and I don't think any of them have even been close to doing so? honestly I've only very vaguely been aware of them having new material out and their latest singles certainly haven't made much of an impression on me so I am not surprised that their sales are dropping off a bit). Should still probably be safe for #1 though, Future's streams were great for the first day but dropped off very quickly so I doubt he'll be able to catch up to where they are now (and just assuming the other new entries are unlikely to be a threat as they'll be similarly physical dependent and are a fair bit behind right now).
May 3, 20223 yr Yeah I'm not too surprised Blossoms' sales have dropped a little. I really like their new stuff, but their fanbase has generally been "Dark Fruits ladz", so I'm not too surprised that 70s-inspired pop doesn't appeal to them as much.
May 3, 20223 yr Have they even had support from R1 this era? I know ‘Care For’ was C Listed last year?
May 4, 20223 yr I was expecting Blossoms to do double so huge disappointment not sure how they lost half their sales relative to last time shouldn't happen considering the vinyl craziness we have these days
May 4, 20223 yr Have they even had support from R1 this era? I know ‘Care For’ was C Listed last year? Nothing else since then has been playlisted, which doesn't help. I'm not even sure R2 have picked them up?
May 4, 20223 yr #1 As It Was last week then (someone must have made this joke by now) About Damn Time someone said that
May 4, 20223 yr Official Chart Update #ChartFact Lady Gaga is back, baby! Her new single from the Top Gun soundtrack, Hold My Hand, has just been unveiled. Lady Gaga has six Number 1 singles to her name, and her biggest hit to date in the UK is (perhaps unsurprisingly) Bradley Cooper duet Shallow from A Star Is Born, with 2.5 million UK chart sales.

May 4, 20223 yr Hope Blossoms can make 15k. It's a shame their sales have dropped off as this album is better than the last one.
