I've taken it upon myself to rank and order every officially released Little Mix track. I did a top 50 countdown like 3 years ago, and 3 years is a long time. Not only have they released new music since but LM5 has had time to settle/work its way up more in my affections as well as some tracks really growing in my affections just to me appreciating them more.

A LOT has changed. Some songs may be further down but my love for them may be just as much as the last time. I've really had time to appreciate their back catalogue a lot more over the last few months with the hiatus news etc..

Everything they released since the 'Bounce Back' release are BRAND NEW to the countdown. So it'll be first time appearances for them.

107 tracks! I've not included remixes (i.e. PS1 Remix of Sweet Melody/Nathan Dawe Remix of Break Up Song etc..) so if it's a single, I've combined them as for the most part they aren't TOO different (except the Kid Ink version of 'Touch' which I have ignored xxx) but I have kept both Secret Love Song's separate as I feel they're different enough.

So lets go! Any predictions.

Hint for the bottom 7: 5 eras appear.

  • Maybe I'll update this and throw in their solo songs.... Jk. IMAGINE THAT TASK! JADE would probably have the entire top 20 by the time her album comes out at this rate

107 | F.U. [GLORY DAYS]

> Kicking this off is a song that I find to be extremely, unironically cringe. Idk what it is, but this just massively grates on me. I think it's coz the tone of music doesn't fit the lyrics at all. <

---

106 | Word Up! [CHARITY SINGLE]

> I actually find this quite fun in the right frame of mind, but it really shouldn't exist in their discography. Thankfully, it's just a charity single, so it's easy to gloss over. It's just annoying that they had to pause their 'Salute' era campaign for it. I wish they'd chosen a song from the album instead. <[/i]

---

105 | My Love Won't Let You Down [CONFETTI]

> Bland. Dull. Trite. They quite clearly wanted a new 'Good Enough'/'Nobody Like You' moment but those over processed vocals are off putting. It's a shame, because they can deliver these type of ballads, as we all know. <

---

104 | Notice [LM5]

> This seems to have quite a cult following on social media and I don't understand why lmao. Just boring and dull. Nothing much to it at all. MEHHHHHH! <

---

103 | Pretend It's OK [DNA]

> Fun fact: this was dead last until I re-listened in order of my countdown lmao. It still doesn't do anything major for me, but I don't mind it. I'll never go to it outside of "full album listen throughs" though. <

---

102 | Oops! (feat. Charlie Puth) [GLORY DAYS]

> Cute and quite obviously made to be a radio smash. But really a bit TOO sickly sweet. I think my opinion on Charlie and all the evidence that points towards the girls really hating their time recording on this song has soured my taste for this it too... idk. <

---

101 | Freak [GLORY DAYS]

> I will never unsee Liam's comments about the production on this song "sounding like Wall-E is dying" lmaooooooo! He's not wrong. But Jade's middle-8 is a HUGE career highlight! The pure delivery of "THERE'S EMOTIONS... YOU AIN'T SEEN...." FUCKING SLAY ME MY QUEEN!!!! <

Notice is my favourite album track from LM5 :(

And I'm a complete sucker for all of Glory Days so I'm not liking 3 from the album being out already

I'm excited to follow the countdown even if we differ so much already!

100 | Case Closed [DNA]

> Into the top 100 we go and we start off with a bonus track from their debut era. Quite a meh song. It's nothing special and is actually incredibly forgettable. I definitely see why it's only a bonus track. <

---

099 | Dreamin' Together (Flower feat. Little Mix) [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> A song that many Mixers probably forget exists or didn't even know existed lmao. It's quite cute, if nothing extraordinary or particularly special. It was nice to see them tap into the J-Pop scene a bit and collaborate with girl group FLOWER. <[/i]

---

098 | Make You Believe [DNA]

> Another DNA bonus track. I *get* what they were trying to achieve with this, but something was missing from making this be better than it actually ended up being. I think it might have been better for it to have just gone all out rock as opposed to electro-pop-rock. I can imagine this sounding killer with a live band though! <

---

097 | We Are Who We Are [DNA]

> Next up we have a song that I actually really loved when the album was first released. It was very reminiscent of Taylor's 'Red' era at the time, but just like 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' it actually got quite grating and annoying the more I listened. I don't dislike it, even now, but it's definitely not aged too great. <

---

096 | Going Nowhere [DNA]

> I *think* this may be a slightly controversial opinion, but this bores me slightly? It's catchy and I love Leigh's rap, but everything else? Meh. Not bad/awful, just doesn't do too much for me. The vocals and harmonies are very nice though. <

---

095 | Cannonball [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> Another controversial opinion now and I think not having it in their bottom 10 may surprise some people but... I have a MAJOR soft spot for this lmao. I absolutely LOVE their version of an already fantastic song and it makes me sad (although I get it) they ignored it for the rest of their career pretty much. One of my fave X Factor coronation singles tbh. <

---

094 | Little Me [SALUTE]

> I completely get why this is such a special song to most people and I love the message of it etc.. but I just find this song a bit boring most of the time, but depending on my mood, I can vibe and get into it. It just never really gets me going back for more. I love Leigh's big pre-final chorus vocal moment a LOT though. <

---

093 | OMG [GET WEIRD]

> Extremely annoying and highly irritating. I'm not a fan of this Charli XCX-circa 2013/2014 type shouty annoying pop. I actually quite like the verses but the chorus is where it completely loses me. <

---

092 | The End [GET WEIRD]

> Yep, even the short a cappella tracks are making an appearance! Idk if this is unpopular or not placing this below 'The Beginning', but whilst cute and obviously a vocal MOMENT, it's not really a track I go back to outside of the album. <

---

091 | The Beginning [GET WEIRD]

> Shock horror, the other one is right above it. Again, it's a vocal MOMENT but what gives this one the edge for me, is that I actually prefer the melody in this one quite a bit more than the melody of 'The End'. Another vocal MOMENT but again, I never go to it outside of the album. <

Aha. I realise it's an unpopular opinion! I'm sorry though </3 It just doesn't do anything for me and I find it so dull and boring! :snif:

'Glory Days' is a strong album, but those 3 are a clear bottom 3 from that album for me. Looking at my list and I think it's a bit of a wait until the next GD track appears!

Thank you so much for commenting and I'm glad to see you're excited to follow it. My taste usually goes against the grain most of the time, but hopefully we can agree on some other songs that feature quite high etc.. I am a nerd for lists and rundowns! I just love seeing other peoples opinions and seeing how they vary from my own etc..

090 | Told You So [LM5]

> I find this song to be "nice" and nothing more or less. Honestly though... as poor and lazy a name as 'LM5' is for an album, I'm glad it wasn't "Wine & Make-Up Wipes" lmao  <

---

089 | One I've Been Missing [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> This song is, low-key, under appreciated. It doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's lovely. I absolutely would have preferred their version of a "Christmas Banger" more, I agree. But this is cute! <[/i]

---

088 | Grown [GET WEIRD]

> LMAO. I am RUNNING FOR MY LIFE for placing this so low. I'm sorry! It's catchy, but also quite irritating and annoying. Don't get me wrong, there will be times where I will bop til my hearts content but most of the time, I cba with it! Oops. I find this to be very overrated! <

---

087 | Love Drunk [DNA]

> We have another bonus track now this time, I think this should've made the actual 'DNA' album. It's fun and pretty "of it's time", but I bop quite a bit to it tbh. I feel like it's underrated? <

---

086 | Boy [SALUTE]

> Next we have another 'Salute' era track and it's quite a forgettable one imo. I don't think it ever goes as far as it should and plays it a bit too safe into the 90's/early 00's R&B sound, when so many of the other tracks on the album play it a bit more unpredictably. <

---

085 | Clued Up [GET WEIRD]

> Another position and another bonus track, this time taken from their 'Get Weird' album. I find this quite charming, if unremarkable. I rarely ever listen to it on it's own, but when it's on, I get a kick out of it and I enjoy my listen to it. <

---

084 | I Won't [GET WEIRD]

> Yep, continuing the tradition is another bonus track lol. I find this quite fun and boppy. I actually think it sounds better amongst the original album than a couple of other tracks that actually made it... *side eyes* <

---

083 | NOTHING BUT MY FEELINGS [CONFETTI]

> I go through phases with this song. I don't mind it, but I also don't really care for it. I don't ever skip it when it comes on though, so I must like it somewhat? Odd. Especially for something so inoffensive and quite bland production wise lol. <

---

082 | Bounce Back [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> Idk if this is too high or too low for most people tbh, but I have a bit of a soft spot for this and when I'm in the right frame of mind and mood, it's one of the best, trashiest bops ever on my listen lol. The video is definitely the MVP of this entire song though. What a video. <

---

081 | A.D.I.D.A.S [GET WEIRD]

> Ik this has a fair few amount of fans but I've never really particularly cared for this. It's a fun, cheeky bop but when I'm not in the mood for it, I find it annoying. <

I agree with quite a few of these so far - the comment I nodded my head most about was 'We Are Who We Are' ageing badly, but also agree that 'OMG' falls into an annoying pop sound that was quite of its time, plus 'One I've Been Missing' being underappreciated - it was a top 10 hit in my chart

I wouldn't go as far as saying 'Notice' is my favourite LM5 album track (that is 'Joan of Arc' *.*) but I do really like it, the moody 50 Shades type sound appeals to me I guess.

Looking forward to the rest of this ^_^

So much respect for people who are able to rank songs in order. I'd get confused as my liking of a song depends on my mood lol. If I was doing the ranking though, Heartbreak Anthem would have come in by now. Don't know what Told You So is doing this low on the list. And where is Motivate??? Lol

080 | Beep Beep [GLORY DAYS]

> For most, this is probably 25-27 places too high but I get a lot of enjoyment from this lmao. I *get* why it's so disliked, but it has a certain charm and I love how cheeky and fun it is. Doesn't deserve the hate! <

---

079 | Kiss My (Uh-Oh) [Anne-Marie feat. Little Mix] [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> Is this unpopular opinion? I think so. As a song, it bops... but it's also a bit basic and a bit too Anne-Marie by numbers for me to care anymore than I do about this. The sample is cool, but yeah, I think both the girls and Anne have far better. <[/i]

---

078 | The National Manthem [LM5]

> Yes. A 20-something second intro has managed to get higher than 20+ full length tracks. I think this absolutely works as an intro and the thing that lets it down is that I wish they'd mixed it better into WLM OR given us a full length song using this properly. THE VOCALS. THE MELODY. THE MESSAGE. So good. <

---

077 | More Than Words (feat. Kamille) [LM5]

> I like this. I think the vocal production actually suits the song for the most part but the production is a bit of a mess and throws me off for the message it's trying to achieve as a song. I don't think it works and there's some kind of disconnect for me. But I appreciate it and like it, I just think the production is a bit off putting. <

---

076 | How Ya Doin'? (feat. Missy Elliott) [DNA]

> Up next we have their first single to utilise their successful method of "rent-a-rapper". The single version wipes the floor with the boring album version and gives the song that kick in not only the production but by actually giving a solid verse for Missy to rap. I enjoy this more than I ever did. I feel like with each passing time it's creeping up my countdowns lol. <

---

075 | Nobody Like You [GLORY DAYS]

> Time for another power ballad. This time the one from their imperial phase, but much like how 'My Love Won't Let You Down' was trying to rehash this, this one tries to rehash 'Good Enough' from their 'Salute' album. It's really nice and a nice vocal moment, but I definitely prefer their more stripped back or "radio ready"/poppier pop ballads. <

---

074 | About the Boy [SALUTE]

> Getting to the real good stuff. This is a fun bop and was a strong starting point for their more early 00's "American R&B" type sound that they successfully emulated further down the line. The best thing about this though is the bridge & Perrie's middle-8 note... you know which note!!! <

---

073 | Love A Girl Right [LM5]

> Continuing that early 00's R&B vibe and sound we have the song that literally samples another song from that era... Sisqo's 'Thong Song' lmao. This was such a great use of sample and really adds to the song. Makes for an enjoyable moment from one of their most personal albums. <

---

072 | Mr Loverboy [SALUTE]

> Yep, another one that I'd place in that early 00's R&B inspired bracket. When I think of this song I think of Summer. It's such a summery song and it really helps the song and makes it stand out more. A very playful and fun song! <

---

071 | American Boy [LM5]

> The last of their Summer-R&B inspired bangers for this section. This song has a playful tone but also sticks to the more personal mood that the LM5 was achieving. A very fun song and I feel their delivery is a lot more slick on this than other efforts by them on similar songs. <

The 'Salute' songs really stand out in a positive way for me in that section  whereas the 'LM5' ones are my weaker links from that record

I totally agree with your thoughts regarding 'More Than Words'. I remember listening to it for the first time on a walk and thinking woah, this build-up sounds fascinating, but then it fell a bit flat at the chorus. There was definitely the makings of a great song in there.

I'm not too disappointed to see How Ya Doin' or Little Me out already from the singles. The former has got to be my least favourite single of theirs ever.

I always tell myself "This is so underrated" but then realised when I was doing this... it's actually quite low down their list for me lmaoooo. Happened a few times but that's just a testament to how much I love their discography AND that I don't think it deserves to be hated on as much as it is etc...

WAWWA... I used to love it  But yeah... eeeeek.

Adidas deserved better
No x

I regret starting it, but I love rankings too much, I just love doing and reading them aha. Everything has changed like 30 times lmao. Not this 'Motivate' blasphemy!!!!!! A BANGER! :o

I'm gonna pretend that Word Up is 6th here instead of 106th. Iconic BOP <3 also A.D.I.D.A.S deserved better I am shocked at your floppy taste x :(
LMAO! I knew you'd pipe up about WU!!!

Poor Pretend It's OK :( :P
Poor us having to listen to it x

(Jk... maybe)

lm5 more like lm goobye
It's a great album, I just love their discography too much! :(

YES! I love all those songs so this part of the countdown is where things got super tricky for me coz for the next 30 songs or so, I feel like they're all too low and should be higher lmao.

Agreed. Idk what it is exactly, but there's some kinda disconnect with that song for me :(

I'm not too disappointed to see How Ya Doin' or Little Me out already from the singles. The former has got to be my least favourite single of theirs ever.
I used to think so too! I think I even ranked it lower than WU at some point lmao. But I've really come around to appreciate it a lot more, recently. I love Missy's verse too much!

Thank you for your comments so far. Really appreciate it.

070 | They Just Don't Know You [SALUTE]

> There is something so endearing about this. The verses leave a lot to be desired, but I think they make up for it with the chorus and I actually think its simple production is what sells it the most. So catchy and irresistably simple! JADE'S NOTE *.* <

---

069 | Good Enough [SALUTE]

> I've touched on this slightly with both 'My Love Won't Let You Down' & 'Nobody Like You', but this is definitely the strongest of the three. It's really beautiful... but it's not one I go back to much outside of the album. I have to be in the mood to listen to it. Powerful vocals though and probably one of their absolute strongest moments in terms of pure vocals. From all 4 girls. <[/i]

---

068 | Woman's World [LM5]

> I love the message of this so much. I know there are people on here who aren't really huge fans of this and find it a bit too "on the nose", but I find this really powerful. It was a great moment on the LM5 tour too. I'd have liked the production to be a bit more fulfilling but their vocals on this are insane! <

---

067 | Rendezvous [CONFETTI]

> This feels like it is 'Motivate's younger, less experienced sister. The production is one of the finest production moments on the 'Confetti' album, but I find the song quite repetitive (which is fine) but also a bit monotonous? I feel like they sound bored, which is a shame. <

---

066 | Not A Pop Song [CONFETTI]

> Here we have their sassy attack on SyCo/Simon Cowell (allegedly x) Lyrically this is quite corny but it's entertaining and interesting af. Clever wordplay in this. As a song, it's irresistably catchy! I want to hate this more than I do. But it's a bop. Soz. <

---

065 | If You Want My Love [CONFETTI]

> We've had some 90's/early 00's inspired R&B, how about some early-mid 00's stuff? The production on this hits like a ton of bricks! The percussion/thin production gives it that mid 00's-esque feel! It's so good! <

---

064 | Private Show [GLORY DAYS]

> I refuse to believe that this wasn't a Christina Milian reject!!! It gives me huge AM/PM vibes, just more brassy... which serves perfectly for their brash and sexy attitudes on the track! That chorus pierces it's way into your brain. Great stuff! <

---

063 | Love Sweet Love [BETWEEN US]

> Now we have a song that kinda continues that brass/percussion type production... this deserved more than it got chart wise, imo. It's such an ear-worm. Which is a complete u-turn from when I first heard it. I remember, for the first time, being truly disappointed with them. But I blame 'Heartbreak Anthem' for setting me up tbh. <

---

062 | No Time For Tears (Nathan Dawe x Little Mix) [STAND ALONE SINGLE]

> Speaking of songs that deserved more than they got in the chart (but wrong time etc..) it's time for another BANGER. In terms of dance music, it's pretty generic, but it hits. The girls all sound great on this and I imagine in a club setting this pops off LOADS. It's under appreciated and honestly, it's the first instance whilst doing my countdown that I truly realised it's not has high in my countdown as I thought it'd be! A BOP! The less said about THAT video though... the better. <

---

061 | Dear Lover [GLORY DAYS: PLATINUM EDITION]

> Up next is the first of 4 new tracks that were used on the repackaged version of their biggest album and era. This one is more mellow and chill and I actually find it a tad underrated and it gets unfairly underlooked tbh. I love the vibe of it! <

'Rendezvous' and 'If You Want My Love' are both 'Confetti' standouts for me *.* agreed that the latter sounds straight out of the 00s - love that they dipped into influences from that decade and the 80s too with 'Break Up Song' <3 on the other hand... 'Not A Pop Song', flush x

'No Time For Tears' is my other highlight here - I wasn't a fan of Nathan's previous work so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this, even if 'Heartbreak Anthem' completely overshadowed it, where their dance collabs are concerned. I wish they'd been in the video! </3
