May 13, 20223 yr I can't believe we're here. Wow. I've been a fan since 2016. I'm from America, so sadly I hadn't heard much about them yet. I'm a big fan of the Sugababes & had heard Siobhan shout them out in an interview & later had gotten free downloads of Change Your Life & Black Magic (Live from the BRITs) that I hadn't listened to (yet), but that was all I knew. Right after the 2016 Summertime Ball, I got a bunch of videos from it in my Youtube reccomendations. The first video I ever saw of them was them performing SLS Pt. II from there. I was in immediately. The last 6 years has been so much fun, even as a fan who never got to see them live (at least not this time around). Watching the live stream of the SOTME premiere & knowing it was a moment. The music videos. Lurking the threads here & at Popjustice everyday. The BRITs wins & performances, interviews & live videos from all over the world. Waiting to see how each album & song would chart. And of course, the music. They are some of the most talented performers out there & one of the best girl bands ever. It's been such a joy to follow them even from afar. It's going to be such a loss to music not to have them. I genuinely think they'll all go on to have some degree of success individually. And I do think we'll see a reunion sooner than later, & in the meantime, see them support each other. It's been nice to see how happy they've been this tour & to see how much they love performing & each other. They really have gone out on such a beautiful note. I hope to get to see them live someday, but until then, I'm looking forward to the live stream Saturday!
May 13, 20223 yr The best Girl Group Britain has produced in the past 25 years. I could actually say they're quite high up there in the best Girl Groups of all time in the world. People who didn't know them have missed a great deal. I can't think of many Girl groups that ticked all these boxes 1. Commercial success 2. Chemistry. 3. Functioning as a unit. OK you could actually merge 2 and 3. 4. Looks (Sorry this is vain, but still...) 5. POWER VOCALS - ALL MEMBERS. 6. Choreo. 7. Great tunes. 8. Diversity across genres. 9. Longevity!!! I hope they return sometime! Edited May 13, 20223 yr by Yousee
May 13, 20223 yr I know it's just the 3 of them performing but I do think the Jesy erasure is a bit odd? Do they acknowledge her at all... even a touching "Regardless of what happens, the four of us will always be one".

May 13, 20223 yr I know it's just the 3 of them performing but I do think the Jesy erasure is a bit odd? Do they acknowledge her at all... even a touching "Regardless of what happens, the four of us will always be one". The four of us will be as one? Absolutely not!! She made it clear where she stood in that live and constantly since leaving LM. Obviously she was a part big part of LM but everyone knows this, respects it but she’s definitely nothing to do with them now.
May 13, 20223 yr I know it's just the 3 of them performing but I do think the Jesy erasure is a bit odd? Do they acknowledge her at all... even a touching "Regardless of what happens, the four of us will always be one". Jesy burned her bridge, simple as that. She insulted Leigh-Anne and acted like a child, even joined in laughing when one of the biggest (and most unhinged) women in music used her enormous platform to insult her. Little Mix owe her *nothing* On topic though, I can't believe it's tomorrow that they're done? I thought that announcing the hiatus early would allow it to settle in more, and it worked but over the last few days their music has just been HITTING and I'm honestly going to miss them so much :(
May 13, 20223 yr But it would be a lie to say 'the four of us will always be one' when one literally is no longer a part of it and had quite frankly earned the relationship she now has with the girls. They supported her so much and she repeatedly demonstrated that it was a one way street. I don't think consciously. I think she'd quite oblivious to some of her actions but at the end of the day...they still happened. I actually feel happy for the girls that they got to spend their last year together with positive vibes only and for Jesy that she didn't just try and stick out that last year for thr sake of other people. It would have become super toxic and destroyed things.
May 13, 20223 yr Author Let's try keep the positivity guys and not derail the thread. This is about Leigh, Perrie and Jade. They are going to be such a mess tomorrow and so will we!
May 13, 20223 yr it's very weird to think that after tomorrow's show, that's IT, they won't be on stage together for a good few years and everything we get after will be completely solo
May 13, 20223 yr At approximately 22:30 (BST) tonight Little Mix would have just performed their last show as a group (for now). I'm actually getting really emotional rn and I've been thinking this for a while, has there ever been such a high profile mutual "the end is coming" final farewell tour where the love for the members involved is still as strong as it always has been? I can't think of any. Enjoy the livestream folks if you're streaming (unfortunately I'm really busy this weekend   ) but especially if you're in attendance. If you can cheer as loud as you've ever cheered for anyone before and get some "10 MORE YEARS" chants going, that'd be appreciated! :D
May 13, 20223 yr Author Honestly I’m so emotional too, I can’t believe the day is here  I feel like I’ve grown up from my teenage years to my mid 20s now with Little Mix! Such a talented group of girls and no-one else comes close. They truly are remarkable and something so special. It’s going to be emotional watching tomorrow
May 14, 20223 yr Author View this post on Instagram My little pony went down a treat 🍬🦄 Yes this is me distracting myself from the fact that it’s THE LAST SHOW today don’t talk to me 📱thebestofjade✨
May 14, 20223 yr I’m going to watch the stream tonight from the Customs House! I live in from the same home town as Jade and Perrie (South Shields crew  ) I’ll probably be watching amongst some of their friends who’ll be at the local theatre I’m watching it from. A last minute decision but I snapped up the tickets when they were offered to me as I missed the tour in person but this show will feel like a real event and I’m sure the others watching will add to the atmosphere. I’m excited for the break though and to see what they do as solo acts. I think to go on that hiatus now was a good move as they’re doing whilst they’re still popular.
May 14, 20223 yr I'm choosing to ignore ALL OF THIS because I can't take it. Just know that I care.
May 14, 20223 yr I’ve been struggling to articulate what I want to post about this but here we go nonetheless. Little Mix were formed at a time I was pretty much ready to hang up my girl band stanning high heels for good. Girls Aloud were about to have their last hurrah and I thought that seemed the perfect time to “grow up” a little bit. Here I am 11 or so years later still stanning the girl bands and it really is all down to Little Mix. I would say that Little Mix are the first girl group since the Spice Girls who have truly had mass appeal. They really broke through in a way Girls Aloud, Sugababes, The Saturdays etc all couldn’t do. Children liked them, parents liked them, the gays liked them… everyone seemed to like them! Little Mix really grew up with their original fan base and so did what they stood for. It was amazing to see such a prominent artist be SUCH advocates for the many things they stand for - and for me, the LGBTQ+ rights. Seeing them perform with a Pride flag waving across the screen in a country where it is illegal just did more than words could. They didn’t have to do that… but they did. It has been a turbulent ride being a LM fan. They’ve really gone through the ringer. Songs that deserved to smash barely scraped the top ten. Album tracks that deserved release barely seeing the light of day. Concepts being changed last minute, single choices being changed last minute - it was always erratic but they always came through. They really deserve this time off, the three of them have worked so hard - writing, singing, promoting, touring - the whole lot. But I pray they break the curse of the girl band hiatus and come back properly and give everybody what they deserve. But if they don’t… we’ve had it good for 11 years! 2011-always and all that jazz!
