Well he definitely will next week! (I would hope much more ambitious than just top 100 given we are being predicted to actually do quite well this year).

I'd expect top 40 regardless of our position, if James "nul points" Newman could make it as high as #47 last year.

Top 20 if we actually do very well.

If we actually do as well as predicted then I would think it has a good chance of going top 10. That is still very much an 'if' though ofc.

He'll definitely be the highest charting UK entry since Molly, and hopefully go higher than she did (23 on the glorious week that also saw Common Linnets, Conchita Wurst and Sanna Nielsen in the top 40).

I'm unsure that there'll be as big a top 75 influx as there was last year, I don't think there are as many 'hit' sounding songs, in fact Space Man probably sounds like one of the songs most likely to have a life outside the contest around Europe. I'll be intrigued to see if the winner will go top 40 this time, as I'm not sure either of the favourites, Stefania from Ukraine or Brividi from Italy, sound particularly like they would catch on in the UK. Sweden's entry Hold Me Closer could be a hit here with radio support but I doubt it will be propelled into the top 40 off the back of the Eurovision performance.

I could pretty easily see 'Brividi' going top 40 if it wins but we'll see I guess. (I've not heard 'Stefania' yet, or indeed any of the other entries besides Italy and the UK, so I can't comment beyond that).

I'm not sure many people would have predicted before the contest last year that 'ZITTI E BUONI' would catch on much in the UK. In fact I remember on the night I was fully expecting it to not be the highest charting song from the contest here despite its win.

Amazed that no songs made a proper dent from last nights semi final. I did see a few between the 100-200 mark + Diodato
