It's just a display error though, happens all the time when new versions of songs are released (mind it's usually the other way round with sales of the new version being combined with the already released one and appearing under the name of the original). It'll be sorted within a day or so.

 

True, although anyone currently buying the song from the chart page will be directed to the instrumental, which will cost a few sales I guess if they're really too lazy to then search for it to download it :lol:

 

Incidentally, I did just buy the instrumental as it's not on Spotify and I'd like to help him to the best peak possible (I also just bought the CD single, I downloaded the original version the day it came out).

Been a while since we’ve seen a lead like this on iTunes sustained for a few days, I really hope it can give Sam an edge!

 

I’ve bought it twice this week, physically and digitally, and streamed the hell out of it, so fingers crossed. Hopefully radio won’t give up on it quickly, it doesn’t deserve to plummet after this week.

if you combine the 4 versions of Space man he's 1.1 vs 0.11 and if you normalise it

it's like 1.0 vs 0.10, so basically Sam is selling 10 times more, not 100
