Sampling the Skream Remix of In For The Kill, this looks like it could be pretty big for Tion!

 

Ooh I didn't know it was the Skream remix he was sampling, the taste *.* that version finally getting to chart in its own right sorta kinda x

oh from the video I grasped it was a new re-recording cos Elly does appear and sing in the video

 

not a fan of Tion Wayne but nice to see La Roux back in the charts (where they belong!!)

If this is what it takes to get La Roux back in the charts, then I’ll take it.

I think they have used the original recording and just got Elly in on the video as it doesn't sound any different

The BIGGEST La Roux stan going. 3 impeccable albums and so I'm ecstatic to see a return of sorts to the chart for her! :wub:

Smart move by Tion/Atlantic and clearly this wouldn't have been cheap with the sample + video shoot in Mexico. The song continues to grow on me and eventually I think I'll quite like it. I'm glad La Roux/Elly gave it the thumbs up and blessing because despite it being 2022 there still is a snobbery attitude to drill/urban music.

I usually like Tion tracks but this is a HUGE misstep. So many cringe AF football-related lyrics too.

I don't like this at all but nice to see La Roux back in the charts.
