Yeah Westlife ain’t fit to breathe the same air as the Sugababes but they’re wildly popular for inexplicable reasons, especially in Ireland. Not a bad platform for them to get exposure that 1.0 will never have had
Indeed. Obviously they are miles and miles and miles ahead when it comes to quality, but it's an amazing platform for them to re-introduce themselves to a whole bunch of locals who probably remember them from back in the day but have no idea they are back.

I’m not a fan of westlife personally although I have grown to appreciate some of their songs as I have gotten older. However I will say when I worked at MTV 13 years ago (so bloody long ago) out of all the celebrities and musicians I met they were by far the nicest, they took the time to shake the hand of everyone on the production team and say thank you. I can see why they have lasted so long in the industry there is a lot of goodwill towards them.
Which singers won’t so nice during your time there?

Charlie Simpson from Busted, he was in another band at the time and they were all quite rude. 50 Cent... he was friendly but his entourage were asshats. Other than that everyone else was always fine, Westlife just went above and beyond compared to anyone else. Alexandra Burke was really lovely too so chatty.

I always hear stories of a famous person's entourage, and that they always tend to be mega tw@ts (while the famous person is nice).
