This album is incredible

Over the years I'd given up on them. Their material was just not hitting the same for me.

 

I'm about half way through. I went into this album completely blind and I am OBSESSED! THIS is the sound that they excel at. I particularly love 'EAT ME'!

I've finished the album and it's already one of my favourite albums of the year! Incredible.

I’ve listened to this and really liked it! Pretty strong throughout and I think vocally this sound really suits them.

 

I think as a whole album it’s a good listen, if I was to go back to individual tracks some of her other albums have more clear standouts (Carefully and Easy from her last album were sooooo good and career highs) but this is definitely better as a whole album than her last album as there’s not much if any filler on here.

 

EAT ME was one of my main standouts on first listen as was FREAK but I’ll definitely give this some more listens over the weekend.

WASTED is my favourite I think.

 

This entire album currently has me in a major choke-hold though! They did THAT HOLY FVCK INDEED!

the only song not doing it for me is the yungblud collab (unsurprisingly), shame, as although i really don't like him at all. I went into it with an open mind but its just not great. luckily all the other songs are good!

This album just gets better and better and better! I am OBSESSED with it and I think it's gonna overtake RENAISSANCE as my favourite album of the year so far!

I really really like this album. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. I've given it a few listens and honestly, there's no dud moments and plenty of really powerful, thoughtful moments/lyrics/songs. Favourites at this early stage away from the singles are 'DEAD FRIENDS', 'WASTED', 'COME TOGETHER' and '4 EVER 4 ME'. The features are also included brilliantly in the songs. A consistent listen and hugely brave move of her that we have to commend. Hope it does half-decently in the charts but I'm doubtful ~

the album is a bit noisy in one sitting - there are some great individual tracks - dead friends and 4 ever 4 me.

This album is certainly a rush! Title track absolutely bangs.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed it, although I will say 16 songs felt a bit much when most of them sounded the same. :lol:

I feel like #7 is the best they're going to be able to do in the UK too, but still a quite good outcome in what is a very busy release week.

I really like this album but I must admit listening to it all the way through is a bit much lol, she needs to stop shouting on songs!

 

That said, individual tracks are amazing - "Happy Ending" is my current favourite :wub:

They released two singles before the album, both of which did nothing and I'm not sure there's much they could've done about that. Then tried to get a third one out to coincide with the release of the album, which is pretty standard for an album campaign these days.
