I can't imagine him cobbling together an album release within 5 weeks without an announcement.

I’ve missed your daily posts.

I enjoy Kylie having interviews that go a bit more in depth with her career, but I found the host so pretentious. Reminds me of the Apple Music interview we got for ‘Disco’ with the insufferable Zane Lowe.

I do too, i have said this a few times but i would love Kylie to do in-depth interviews looking back on each of her albums, the music, the campaigns themselves etc.

Why is everyone rushing single 2?

 

Release it end of August, get it involved in the album promo which will automatically boost it, let some of those Barbie tracks go into ACR while Single 2 is just picking up hopefully and that can boost the song too. The only thing I can't get behind is Wednesday release but understand its for streaming purposes. Pity they can't release on streaming on a weds then itunes on a Friday

 

I think single 2 will have a edit or two, maybe 2 videos if there is a feature? I feel they left PP to do its thing with organic natural growth

Single 2 may get more thrown at it too.

 

Can't wait for the advertising to start. A few small TV commercials will be fun to boost

 

I am also looking forward to the Piano Room.

 

I just pray Radio plays her (i know radio 2 will) , Capital FM made such a difference.

 

If it is Tension as single 2 then Kamille could also boost this with her own. Involvement.

I admit I'm getting really impatient and hoping for some kind of indication it's happening each day, but it'll come when it comes. I've waited this long, and as long as it actually is by the end of the month!

Wouldn't it be a bit concerning if the fans weren't expressing that they're gagging for the next single? :kink:

 

I think there's a fairly high proportion of the fan base who aren't particularly focused on the business/release strategies side of things. Many just want something new as soon as possible for their enjoyment.

I mean the album is only 5 weeks away now.

 

We know promo is about to start with the Kylie top 40 countdown next week.

 

We will get hints of the new single very soon too.

 

I really want a bit of longevity with Tension album and song.

I see Dua Lipa selling CDs at 99p and free P&P

 

Really would love Kylie to do this, just to see how effective it is for the song! £2.99 with free P&P would be fine too haha

She'll never do it while she's with BMG Townsend don't understand the concept of reasonable P&P charges let alone free x

Townsend prob never will but I would live them to try it.

If Kylie was with a major we would have seen 20 remixes, 99p CDs and Cassettes and a higher peak for PP.

 

But I’ll sacrifice that for all the other great things they’ve given us.

Yes, I would just love them to try it once and see how many we buy!!!

As if Madonna is releasing the same week as Kylie - I mean it won’t be a threat even with the 5 different vinyl variants as they are all around £60-75 but it will cause drama in the Madonna and Kylie forums :drama: :lol:
