It's sold out now.

It wasn’t initially - it was unlimited on HMV and Townsend, hence 500+ posts on eBay with multiple copies for sale.

 

That’s why I’m pleased it’s still available, the resellers have boosted sales while fans have had a chance to get a copy.

 

It was quickly 2 max on Townsend so hopefully they cancelled any orders with more. Maybe that’s why it took longer to sell out…because they released the cancelled stock back for sale.

 

Oh I also noticed the Spotify Vinyl is unavailable now…not sure when that happened but pleased I ordered one.

It's all looking so promising, would love if it could beat discos opening.

Havent listened to it but I'm scared. Heard the singles are nothing like the album, and that its filled with DISCO rejects? Not sure what to feel

The album is pure pop perfection

 

Very retro 80s/90s vibes and they do not sound like disco rejects at all

 

The music feels like it touches on lots of different sounds that Kylie has done over the years. The rest of the album is not like Padam or Tension. The closest thing to those songs I would say is Vegas High.

 

Hands is amazing as well hun, deffo ready for a big feature on that song. Hands is what all I see thinks it is.

 

A great album and probably her best since aphrodite for me.

 

I know Neil was woreied with Padam and Tension but Neil hun, Kylies got you with the rest of the album dw.

 

Story is great as well, I expected that song to be cringe but it is actually really great

Hummm not sure that encourages me a lot cause I wanted an album more in line with Padam. A darker electronic sound.

 

I loved DISCO (amazing album), but I wanted a strong detour from that sound

Maybe after the Padam and Tension success, she may go down that route for rhe next album?

 

It is a great album though.

That was her goal with this album, she said so herself that rather than working on a theme, just "service the song" as she put it. It's sounding amazing based on the 2 singles, live "Hold on to now" and clip of "Vegas High" I've heard. I was hoping it's got a richer Fever sound than Aphrodite as I wasn't a big fan of Aphrodite :( (other than the first 2 singles and Heartstrings)

From what we have heard so far there is no real theme emerging which of course kylie had acknowleded but I agree it does seem to touch on a few of kylies past glorious moments.

Each song from Tension is different but also works as a collective.

Rolling Stone gave her a 4/5 and a glowing review. Reviews and word of mouth all positive.... how times change! I could never imagine Rolling Stone going near a Kylie album in 1991!
