83 this week. i did feel streamnig is not going to help this album at the end of the week.

Looks like it sold another 1.8-1.9k

There is only 5,000 difference between 10 and 109 this week and only 2,000 between 30-109

a little price reduction really could work wonders or a new variant

Most likely OUT next week, I predicted 5 weeks top 100 but it’s looking like 4. It’s hurts as it’s a great album, but that’s just the way the market is right now.

When it falls out next week hopefully BMG kick into action.

Its fine, it will react to promo and pricing strategies. She has been give support streaming wise for a few singles, the album missed out for now .

3 weeks in T75 is a very disappointing and a bit of a disaster. It might have reached no1 but it’s still plummeted much faster than any of her other albums. I’m sure many people will blame it on the market changes but disco was only released 3 years ago .Yes the market has continued to shrink but that factor alone doesn’t explain fully the album dropping out so quickly. It will be a hard job to turn the album fortunes around now.

It is not a disaster .........

disaster is selling 1.99 albums in B&M or Home Bargains.

is Tension is a disaster then not sure what you would call 100s of other albums released this year......

The sales are so tight that literally 100 sales could move up 10 places in the charts

Enjoy the Tension Remixes this week

The album's market is a very different beast compared to 2018 and 2020, you only have to look the chart runs of most releases this year.

This requires a Jay analysis post :kink:

In what way is the market so different to only a few years ago? I don’t think it’s changed dramatically. Sales have continued to decline to some degree but the decline has slowed alongside streaming increasing its market share.

The chart runs you mention are not particularly a new phenomena that has started during the last 3 years. However, it’s certainly become more common for albums to experience big drops from no1 but Kylie has done well to buck those trends with longevity for most of her albums apart from the decon era, kiss me once and let’s get to it.

It is what it is, I'm pretty sure we won't have seen the last of it regardless.

Pretty much my take on it too, I wish it was doing better but I hope it’ll respond well to Christmas promo and make it past Gold at some point.

Disappointing but expected - I guess my main disappointment is that it’s such a good album that it’s sad to see it vanish so quickly.

Like others have said though I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of it.

Here’s hoping that there’s some TV promo coming soon that might help the pure sales. I know there not as much of a thing these days but Kylie would benefit if she did get some.

There’s a ITV special In December isn’t there and I suspect she may get on Strictly results at some point too.

It hasn’t done too badly though all things considering I’d still say it’s been a success.

Its like been out 4 weeks and already well inside the top 100 albums of the year for sales and probably top 25 for physical sales all at a premium price.

I'm really not sure what you expect? Have you seen everyone elses sales? She has had a top 10 single, 1 top 20 single a top 100 single already and a number 1 album.

She is probably well on her way to making just as much revenue this era than she has with Disco and Golden eras already with all the singles and album revenues at top prices. i am sure she would rather have all that revenue than selling £2.99 album downloads and £3.99 CDs and some streaming sales.

Thing is, physical albums now are a commodity that most people will buy in week 1 and if you don't have at least 3 big/reasonable streaming hits on it there's no way of competing with the other albums in the chart.
