Really good interview on Zach Sang Show

some nice little tit bits

she does go on about Hold On To Now............

This was such a funnnnnn interview. I enjoyed it so much. She came across as so confident, so aware of her multi decade success and very witty, and real. I chuckled at the whole Harry styles and Elton John section. “What more bad news do you have for me!” :D :D lol

Another Kylie US Radio interview. Seems to be picking up the radio promo again. 104.3 MYfm

Edited by SmileyKylie

Looks like Strictly launch could be 16th and first live show on 23rd Sept. Would fit nicely into Kylie schedule as she is definitely in the country for 17th Sept concert.

Graham Norton is scheduled to start 29th September I think

Strictly on the 23rd would tie in well with album launch but a slot later on might help boost the album outside debut week where it will do well regardless.

She could always film in advance. Not difficult to do I suppose.

I am looking forward to the Piano Room.

Wonder if she will have any promo with other stations as well as bbc radio 2

Recording in advance is an option Kylie should take where possible as it keep promotion ongoing for her.
I think promo will be hard for her due to the Vegas shies so she will have to try and squeeze in whatever she can.

The Vegas residency starts on November 3rd, which is 6 weeks after Tension comes out. If Vegas wasn't a thing, would she ordinarily be doing much promotion 6 weeks into the album release anyway? She will have done the bulk of it leading up to Tension and during release week, maybe bits and bobs a week or two later.

Anyway, her Vegas residency isn't particularly dominating - across November and December she's only doing 4 weekends, i.e. 8 shows. That's 8 shows over a period of 44 days. So there's plenty of days in which she could theoretically be focusing on the album.

Just to emphasise the point:

Lots of promo coming, something potentially big end of Nov/beginning of Dec and not in Vegas....
One month until 'Tension' release! :cheer:

I am really excited for this campaign, not that im not usually excited for a new Kylie album but there is a sense that Tension could potentially provide Kylie with at least another hit, streaming has already greatly improved for her which im hoping the album will benefit from. As the campaign moves on towards the end i would be all for Kylie getting a feature or 2 on some tracks by other artists just to stretch out the era further and keep her presence on the charts and also possibly help get her name out there again with the younger audiences.

It will be great. Mix of old and new. ITV, fans and passive fans watching, cheer us up in the cold. Perfect for selling Tension for Xmas and her debut album too.

It will be great.

I like the audience with shows musically when you follow an artist but the pre rehearsed questions are usually chappy. I'd love for real fans like ourselves to get the chance to ask real questions and not the guaranteed question of how do you keep reinventing yourself. It will help the album I'm sure in some small way at the least.

There is nothing negative to be had here. Its probably the biggest promo any artist can have at that time of the year. Now we just need them to release a Santa Baby re-edit ready for Xmas streaming haha

Going to be polished and exciting.
