I'm thinking 4,500 units from streaming. Disco's streaming was up by a factor of 2.67 from the Monday midweek to the Friday official figure, so it makes sense to think Tension will get 4,500. I was expecting 5,000 initially too, so glad to see it was not too far off.

I was sure that Tension would easily manage 6k as i had thought it would double the streaming sales Disco acheived.

Why? Aren’t the top 2 (or 3 icr) actually not included in the streaming totals for the album? So Padam Padam and Tension/Hold On To Now aren’t going to be contributing the album sales (or they’re at least weighted down to the average of the other tracks arent they? This one confuses me so I may have got it wrong :lol:)

Just ordered that Orange vinyl. I like that it's going to be a translucent orange. I think that will suit the album nicely.

I just saw a post on Kylie Gold facebook saying that Just imagine was originally giving to Kylie in 2006 for the X sessions but it didnt fit in.

Strange to see her going back to a song from so long ago but glad she did as the song has grown on me alot since i first heard it.

Also, and again I'm no expert but quite disappointed with the streaming. I thought she'd manage much more with all the publicity, her taking over spotifyUK for a day (whatever that meant), etc. etc.

Lets put it into perspective... a streaming artist such as Doja is on 2.6k split between stream sales and digital... kylies streaming sales are roughly 1.6k so far... that shows she has made huge gains in streaming. Lets see what she hits at the end of the week hun because this is a very early update

 

Also do not forget the highest 2 or 3 songs with the most streams are downweighted to the average of the other tracks.

 

For Kylie, who is not a streaming artist (although she seems to be making some huge gains this era in streaming) she is doing amazing!

Disco gained from the huge battle with Little Mix, kylies team were very reactive throughout the whole week ensuring Kylie got that number 1, i think they might play it differently as Tension has the number 1 in the bag even if it doesn't sell a single copy for the week. Maybe they will hold back to try and help the album stay steady for another couple of weeks.

I do agree about the streaming as i posted earlier i am a bit disappointed by the streaming so far but who knows it might surprise us yet by the end of the week especially if any data was missing, on a side note i never expected Doja Cat to be even a challenge for Kylie this week but i didn't see it coming that she would be so so far behind on such low sales.

Totally. I have nothing against her but I thought the current "in" artist with the #1 song in the country would have much more.
