Rodgers reign at Leicester City on thin ice?

I could see Sean Dyche being a good fit for Leicester, and I think he’s be more likely to go there rather than Bournemouth.

Leicester fans wouldn't accept Dyche as he comes with the stigma of boring, defensive football. He'd be far more popular at Bournemouth who need that this season.

Could see Leicester trying to get Poch.

Can't see Poch going to Leicester if they won't spend any money. Poch will hold out for Chelsea, or even something like West Ham/Newcastle if either of those two clubs have a bad spell imo.

Yeah I highly doubt he ends up there but I'm sure Leicester will still try. Chelsea would be an interesting outcome what with Conte & Poch swapping London clubs from a few years back!

A remarkable summer transfer window closed on Thursday with a number of new spending records set - including the most expensive ever deadline-day signing in Manchester United's £82m purchase of Antony.

That deal helped set a new Premier League spending record of about £1.9bn - smashing the previous record of £1.4bn in 2017 - and dwarfing the rest of Europe.

There's too many good strikers out there at the moment - a complete contrast to last season!

That was a bold move considering he was playing against one of the worst defences in the league! But hindsight and all eh.

I know the level of officiating is an extremely low bar but those decisions in the Chelsea, Newcastle and City games were another level. Referees looking for ANY reason to disallow perfectly legitimate goals...

Lovely hattrick for Ivan Toney, the first player to score two hat tricks for the club!

I took him out of my team so that I could afford to have Haaland and Salah there at the same time. If only I took Salah out instead!

Fair play to Bournemouth for turning things around vs Forest!

Just watching highlights, Leeds don't look bad but the defence is a bit of a joke. Probably quite a few goals to be shipped this season.
Is Mendy still lying on the turf at Stanford Bridge after being touched by Bowen in the disallowed West Ham equaliser??

Yes, I think he was still lying on the turf.

Some of the decisons this season have been bonkers - can't believe first of the the linesman did not let the phase of play go on during the Coutinho goal, at no point was he offside. And the disallowed goal from West Ham was awful. Very bad decisions and zero accountability once again.
Very fortunate three points for Chelsea what was Bowen meant to do?

Yeh I mean compare that to the assaults on some strikers by keepers!

Might be a point for Villa which guarantees Gerrard stays for the near future but could have been three points.
