Posted June 16, 20223 yr I've noticed that the year-end top 100 for 2015 lists Lay Me Down by Sam Smith twice for some reason. I want to know what the 101st song was so I can remove the duplicate from my list and add an actual unique single. Does anyone have access to a top 200 for 2015 (year-end) so that I can find out what #101 was?
June 16, 20223 yr There were 2 versions of that track that were counted differently because one of them was for charity (the version featuring John Legend) so it’s right to show twice.
June 16, 20223 yr I think they had already stopped doing year-end top 200s by 2015. Now we only ever get top 100s. I would say the best thing to do is find one of those countdowns that people on Buzzjack do. The highest song on there that isn't in the official year-end top 100 has a decent chance at being what #101 would have been. Either that or you can perhaps track down any estimated YTD or year-end charts by members of the public. The highest songs on their lists that didn't make the official year-end chart have a good chance at being what #101 would have been. Third option I can think of is put the Paul Woolford remix of Lay Me Down. It's really awesome and very different to the original so it won't feel like you've got the same song twice. I've been listening to this remix for years but never the original.
June 16, 20223 yr Author There were 2 versions of that track that were counted differently because one of them was for charity (the version featuring John Legend) so it’s right to show twice. Yet there are plenty of songs with remixes that are counted as one and not this for some reason.

Still doesn't feel quite official enough so I think I'll leave it out anyway.
June 17, 20223 yr I do think I recall Vidcapper saying at the time that according to he estimates, it was likely Shake It Off by Taylor Swift.
June 17, 20223 yr Two tracks dropped off the top 100 YTD's chart on the final week of the 2015 chart year (i.e the same YTD chart as the official 2015 best sellers list), these were 'I Don't Mind' by Usher featuring Juicy J (previous week it was #96) and 'Shake It Off' by Taylor Swift (previous week at #100). On the final weekly chart of 2015, 'Shake It Off' was a re-entry inside the top 200 at number 128 while 'I Don't Mind' wasn't in the chart at all. It's likely that 'Shake It Off' was the track at #101. Edited June 17, 20223 yr by Robbie
June 17, 20223 yr It is indeed Taylor Swift and Shake It off at 101 in the YEar End chart for 2015 - ChartsPlus received it at the time and did not print it as we ran out of time. Don’t think we got it until March 2016 and it was too difficult to print at that time.

June 19, 20223 yr Wow. So do actual year-end top 200s exist for future years was 2015 the last one? The last one I have - they almost certainly make them each year. I know that Chris had to purchase them and did so for 2015 but it arrived so late (April I think) her felt the momentum had gone in terms of printing it.
