I got nothing either, no way was I paying for a hospitality package, which is the only thing still on there by the time I got in, gutting!

Same, although I did hold onto two £490 hospitality tickets for as long as possible in my basket (not even for the live final but the jury final) until I wisely saw sense and released them!

I can't complain too much as I've been to five of them from 2016-22 and for many this will be their first opportunity. I already have my accommodation and train tickets sorted so if extras become available then great, otherwise it's very easy this time to pop back home from Liverpool to watch it at home instead. The days of €130 standing Live Grand Final tickets seen as recently as Lisbon 2018 seem pretty gone now, unless a country like Moldova win.

Now watch loads of people who didn't get tickets cancel their hotel bookings they nabbed months ago and hopefully make them a bit more available and affordable!

I’m still going to go to Liverpool during the week but my god, I feel so deflated today. It was an hour of edging me towards a page that eventually said “no tickets can be found”.

Me too! For the LIVE final I might just have done it, even though that is completely extortionate, but no way otherwise.

Yeah I can't believe just how much ticket prices have jacked up in the last few years. In 2013 I had a live grand final ticket - admittedly sitting behind the stage and all I managed to see was the opening number and Cascada strutting out onto the catwalk area - for something like £30 iirc. But I'd already seen the final dress rehearsal on the Sat afternoon, and did the whole lot in under £100, the tickets weren't even that hard to get hold of.

That's a very good point, will keep a hawk's eye on the hotel prices, as we're still going to go and soak up the atmosphere I think.

:o

Sounds super expensive anyway! Probably cheaper to go to ANY OTHRR EUROPEAN COUNTRY for Eurovision. Rip off Britain.

Do what Silas said and stay in a nearby town with rail links!! Or if you're close enough, have a bus day trip

We've booked an Airbnb in North Wales as it was the only thing that was cheap enough

I'm fortunate enough to have a car and be able to drive between there and Liverpool (45 mins), as no doubt the rail network will be stuffed up with engineering works and/or strikes.

Ah 45 minutes by car, not bad

didn’t get anything either still really looking forward to being around the city and eurovision villlage though, was just really hyped to get the full experience with it being my home town too. these opportunities don’t come round twice :(((
I’m heading to Semi Final 1 and Semi 2 Jury. I’m ecstatic and extremely lucky given so many were less so.

Congrats to all who got them, very jealous but happy for you all.

Anybody know of anyone who got tickets to the live grand final? I wonder if it's worth joining OGAE as I understand that their members were entered into a ballot and many got tickets reserved for them that way.

I think they're already on re-sale and were like an hour later... one of my friends colleagues tried and said Ticketmaster were trying to charge £10,000!! So I presume it was resale?

I think it's well worth being an OGAE member, only £17 a year and it gets you access to the ballot, discounts on merch from the Eurovision online store, a quarterly magazine about Eurovision...but just for the ballot it's a bit of a long shot. They 'only' had 222 live show packages allocated to OGAE UK this year for the primary ballot (those who've been a member for at least a year or so - or maybe that was the figure for primary and secondary combined), and just over 1,300 people were included in said ballot.

I guess that's still better odds than being stuck in a Ticketmaster queue that can only be as specific as saying there are 2000+ people ahead of you...

Wow, that's cheaper than I thought, maybe worth it to give a better chance for the future - are you a member?

Not sure who's going to any of the pre-parties, but just seen Loreen has been announced for the Madrid and London parties <3 Hyped for the latter - even moreso than I already was as Here at Outernet is such a great venue, and will be way better than the cramped (although great fun) Cafe De Paris and weird hotel foyer setup last year.

Would love to have gone to some of the others but it's such an insane time for work atm.
