I was at the Apollo gig. Whilst I would see them again - they were excellent live, amazing vocals from all, especially Keisha! - I am not going back to the Apollo again. The venue itself was awful.

It used to be one of my favourite venues about 10 years ago, but since Eventim have taken ownership of it it's not the same. The staff were not only so rude and aggressive, but the safety was a big concern to me as well seeing how many people were crowded around outside emergency exits etc - and because it started later than advertised, I had to leave after "Overload" so I didn't miss my train home and witnessed a fight outside in the foyer that I had to dodge out the way of that staff weren't managing well enough. I was a bit shaken by it TBH.

They clearly oversold tickets relative to capacity. I'm not being funny but if the tragic events in South Korea this week prove anything is that it takes one bad management of a situation for it to escalate into disaster quickly. So yeah if they hopefully do another tour in future I'll go but I'll be avoiding Hammersmith like the plague if that's on the list.

Next time we should all go to the Nottingham arena. That wasn’t sold out or even down to „limited availability“!!

Bit concerned that that’s another venue with talk of overcapacity. Hoping that north of the wall things are a bit better but I won’t hold my breath.

Got my email with the lowdown on how the M&G works and I’m so excited. It’s before the show which means imma be at the venue for f***ing hours. Check in starts at 17:30 but they’re not on until 21:05 in Edinburgh

I’m so so excited for, you’re going to absolutely love it. They couldn’t be more lovely, definitely take something to get signed. They did say to us to limit it to one thing, however I’ve heard it was different at other venues!

Looool what was their response!?!?

The guy was just rambling and they were all three awkwardly saying ‘oOoOoh?’

You could tell they didn’t know what to say lool.

Mutya said ‘well don’t worry you won’t have that problem today’ in a jokey way!

I’ve heard that from someone doing Glasgow but the Edinburgh instructions aren’t explicit about a limit. So depends on what we can get away with really.

If it’s only one then I have the sleeve of my copy of the original pressing of One Touch. But have also got Three, Ghosts and Real Girl. Also at my parents I should have a Vodafone TBA pass that Heidi and Amelle signed but Keisha never came to our side so didn’t get hers at the time. Maybe she can add it now instead

Looool what was their response!?!?

What’s an amelle?

By the way, they’re getting better and better live. They’re re-building their own brand, harmony after harmony. Such Queens.

Wondering how many M&G tix were actually sold for EDI because they offered an upgrade and my ticket for that is numbered 01. hoping it’s a little empty, then I might get a smidge more time with them 🥹

Lol

I’ll never forget when I met Mel B I was asking her to sign my Spiceworld gold disc and Geri had already done it in this horrendous scrawl (she was awful when meeting her). Mel B looked at it and said “who signed that!?” And I said “oh Geri” and she responded “was she in a bad mood that day or something that’s awful”

That was a religious experience

There are no words. They were so f***ing lovely. They signed an actual truck load of shit. They’re just so so so so f***ing nice.

The while show was incredible from start to finish. The revamped versions of classics and the MKS tracks all worked wonderfully. It felt so fresh and you would never have guessed that the bulk of the set list was from after Siobhan and that it’s had been 9 years since their last tour.

Im having this printed and framed

Yess  So happy for you and such a lovely picture!!

So they just surpassed all my expectations!!

I have a recurring injury which flared up which meant I couldn’t even aim for barrier even if I wanted to, but it didn’t make any difference - the girls were amazing!

From the second they walked on for Push The Button, to the last note of About You Now, it was just amazing. I do agree with earlier posts saying Freak and Round Round should have been the encore and I totally agree with that but it didn’t even matter!

I agree with whoever said this tour made Flatline come to life - wasn’t mad on it before but it’s pretty good really.

Out of the MKS tracks I prefer Today (hadn’t heard either prior to the tour!)

I would have liked to hear Run For Cover and Caught In A Moment BUT I think they did a wonderful job with the setlist given most of the casuals would have wanted the hits.

I am just so mesmerised by Siobhan. What a woman!

It really was a great show wasn't it?! So glad you had a great time too! :)

Love how everyone was cheering loudly for Siobhan when it was her parts!
