Looks like pick up wasn't as expected

I’ve ordered my bundle - I don’t care how it sells to be honest, it’s already been a #1 million seller and the re-issue won’t be returning it to the charts due to it being on ACR so this is a nice to have rather than a normal Kylie release where I ‘worry’ what is / isn’t being sold.

^ACR only affects streams don’t forget, not sales.

^^ But 6k (average) needed to go Top 75 will be a tall order - it could pick up some downloads too but I’m not getting over excited about any prospects for this, it’s been a huge hit - anything additional is a bonus.

Ya im the same, id love it to chart of course even if its top 100 but i know it will be hard to do unless it does better than we think on downloads and streams.

Not all physical sales will stay in the UK and when split may account for less than 3000.

It would need at least the same from download and streaming platforms to come near the chart.

Just showing how savage the charts are if you haven’t got streaming on your side - Pink Floyd sold 4,254 physicals and missed the Top 100, so I can’t see Kylie & Jason managing it either

Yes especially if the rumours are true and it’s being played during the finale episode.

1000 downloads is very reachable but streaming will probably do next to nothing.

What is the main age demographic watching Neighbours?

I'd say 35plus but I could be wrong, I doubt many of the viewers are big streaming users although the audience will be different to the norm fir the final.

i think you could be right that the Vinyl/Tapes could be added to the streaming/download totals of the week before release date add to that chart......

 

Channel 5 have Neighbours at 9pm on Friday 29th and also have a music special afterwards so Kylie and Jason will be on that.

 

It would be good to build up some momentum.

Hopefully people remain tuned in after neighbours ends, and watch the music special afterwards.

Thanks for sharing that i loved it mixing both together, growing up i was a big fan of Jasons music and bought all the albums and i still enjoy many of his songs but mixing the songs together with some of kylies works really well and very appropriate it closes out with especially for you. Again listening to that brought me right back to the days when Kylie and Jason dominated the media, they were huge superstars in the late 80s it really was incredible the level of popularity they achieved.

Nice climb so far and hopefully top 10 tomorrow, huge shame the new physicals aren't released this week in both Aussie and UK.

Just looked on livepopbars and its now showing especially for you at 37 and angry andersons suddenly at 65 (82 in the uk)
