I enjoyed pretty much everything here. The standouts for me were Sand Dancer, Bonnie and Clyde, Punchline, Absof***inglutely and Where You Are. I think those are the ones where you really get her personality.

I actually think Pushing Up Daisies is the least captivating thing here, it sounds like Ed Sheeran on autopilot (which is what it is).

Rocket Scientist makes sense as a single when you think about the songs that a random man smashes with every other month, but I don’t think the same strategy will work for a female artist unfortunately.

My biggest criticism is that with more time, I think a lot of these songs could’ve been fleshed out more. There’s not a lot of bridges or outros that could’ve changed things up a bit. But I had fun listening to it and I think the time going back to the studio served her very well. A very cohesive listen and of course she sounds incredible. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it.

The Rocket Scientist music video is very simple so don’t expect much but it is nice. It’s very more than words mv wise.

Describing it in emojis would be: 💧

Perrie is doing signed CDs with a Personalised Postcard on her store.

Perrie.

The official Perrie music & merch store. Visit the shop for exclusive product bundles, t-shirts, music and more.

At the event they gave us the same postcards to write messages to Perrie that she was going to read

I'm glad they're pushing for as many sales as possible because it's had no time to build pre-orders really.

The postcard idea is great because it's the signed CD Version so essentially you're getting two things signed which is cool.

Really hoping this album does well for her I'm excited to see where she goes next.

A top 10 album as well as the top 10 single would be a big win.

She really deserves to do well, from the event it seems like she worked really hard and the songs are actually personal. She told us the stories. She's genuinely so lovely and I think she'd be real upset if it didn't do well.

She said it really affected her getting compared and how upset she was the music wasn't clicking.

In one of the interviews I posted she said she's shocked she's even getting an album out and we don't know everything she went through to get us to this stage with an album (sounds like label issues).

I hope she feels so much better now after IHWTHW because that's stayed in the charts longer than all of Jade's singles bar Angel so clearly it's clicked more than her other offerings.

I'm praying it does well to, I'm fully onboard after she went back in the studio and has been so honest about making a more authentic album.

I think it'll do ok it's not helping that we only had a 5 week turnaround it's nowhere near enough time really these days.

Before I forget Perrie said at the event ‘Sand Dancer’ is the name of the place she did karaoke in her home town.

I’m enjoying this so far! She has done well, after a few dodgy releases - it feels like she’s happy with her sound now!

It’s very Kelly Clarkson but that’s not a bad thing! I hope she can get top 10.

Wow, I actually love the album. The story telling is really clear.

My favourites of the new songs:

Rocket Scientist

Sand Dancer

Punchline

Where You Are

Absof***inglutely

Same Place Different View (that ending about hope has me emotional - beautiful song)

She’s definitely found her sound!

After a few listens, I love this album. I just don't like go your own way much, never have but the other singles have grown on me.

Yeah, I did think it might be an ode to home in some way. The term 'sand dancer' is used to describe someone from South Shields, just like you'd call someone from Newcastle a Geordie. Perrie is the opposite of Jade where she never really mentions the North East so it's nice there's a reference on there.

Gonna take a few listens for me there are a good few instant tracks but also a lot that arnt packing a punch just yet
