I'm getting older...

Anyway she was on the set with the director Graham Cruz and Aaron Adrian Rogers.

Hopefully it's something related to music and not for AI.

Apparently the new track 'Place Where We Belong', which Mel has previewed in her recent DJ sets, is 'out there' according to fans on Spice Circle. As anyone heard it or has a link?

There is a full video of her playing the song during a DJ set.

That's right, it is here: https://www.facebook.com/bethany.berg.5/videos/590752384008649/

Strangely, I quite like this. It feels very Madonna's 2000 era where she experimented with this type of dance music in her Music album (think Impressive Instant / What It Feels Like For a Girl (single remix) mixed in with Ibiza type of house.

The opening spoken verse is an interesting take from Mel, but some of the lyrics are quite clunky again... It's definitely not the pop-dance artist type of music she did with her previous album and I find it liberating that she can experiment again with this. Good for her!

I saw a clip of the video (?) and the music seems different.

Probably this one is a remix?!?

A fan on Spice Circle:

'Just got out from seeing Melanie C perform on The Voice. She performed her “new single” which I assume is called “SWEAT”.

After the performance the host Sonia asked when the new album is gonna be released and she said “next year” 😐

The song is fun. As you would expect. Dance. A progression from the Melanie C album. Performance was fun and sweaty 😉"

Omg she's making us wait until 2026 geri Looking forward to the new single though!

From the new interview with Sunday Life:

Chisholm [...] is in the process of adding the final touches to an album she’s been working on for the last two years with English producer Richard “Biff” Stannard, who’s written many songs for Kylie Minogue.

“My new album has been a real labour of love,” says Chisholm. “It’s uplifting and I’ve had a lot of fun in the dance genre. I am leaning into the club world and my sporty side, which taps into different aspects of my personality.”

Chisholm has relished watching Kylie’s career boom as the Aussie singer has traversed her 50s, hence her decision to team with Stannard for her own club renaissance. “Biff helped push Kylie even further into the stratosphere – it’s been amazing to see,” she says.
