If the current pattern continues he'll have a solid season next year with a top 4 finish and then the season after will be another disaster show.

Marseille have agreed a deal worth €31.6m - including add-ons - with Manchester United for striker Mason Greenwood.

Marseille are edging closer to a deal to sign Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood.

Personal terms have been agreed in principle and Greenwood has been given permission to undergo a medical.

Marseille and United agreed a deal worth €31.6m (£26.5m) earlier this week.

United also have a significant sell-on clause, thought to be between 40-50 per cent.

We've completed the signing of 18 year old Leny Yoro from Lille on a 5 year deal. This is definitely one for the future and he was in the Ligue 1 team of the season so hopefully he will develop well at United over the coming years.
Yep a very good player, was hoping Liverpool would be in for him but seems we baulked at the price end his twerking with Real Madrid. Good signing in any case though!

Guess their mayor speaking out didn’t have any effect after all in regards to Greenwood.
Man Utd need to make several more outgoings and incomings. Mctominay, wan bissaka, Casemiro all gotta go, probably maguire and lindelof too

McTominay I would have agreed with you last season but definitely not now, one of the only reliable players week in week out.

Casemiro can't leave quickly enough...

I just don’t see what he can bring that he hasn’t already. You can’t keep someone others are willing to start and pay £35-40 mill for just to start 1 in 5 games and be a sort of last resort in desperate times. Like a Scottish Fellani. I like him but given the financial rules he has a lot of value in comparison to his place in the squad so it’s best for all parties he’s sold to Fulham or West Ham and the money used to bring in a world class midfielder to go alongside Mainoo and maybe even pick up Rabbiot for free just to bolster the position. If Casemiro can go to Saudi maybe it allows another big signing in midfield too

Manchester United are exploring a swap deal with Inter Milan that would see Aaron Wan-Bissaka move to Italy and Denzel Dumfries head to Old Trafford, according to The Athletic.

It is claimed Wan-Bissaka has turned down West Ham and favours a move to Inter Milan this summer - or as a free agent when his contract expires in June 2025.

Some weird moves happening here. Dumfries is one of those players that does well for the Netherlands but is bang average every time I've seen him at club level. Better on the ball than Wan-Bissaka, but makes Man Utd defensively weaker.

Lots of changes going on at Man Utd, still a bit muddled about their approach though. Ugate seems like a massive flop in the waiting too unless there's a structure style play change.

Don’t want any more Dutch players. If Ten Haag does poorly and gets sacked then you have a squad full of his former players/+dutchies it would be a mess for the new manager. Eden the new striker I have question marks over. Couldn’t get in the Dutch team ahead of Weighorst not exactly a great sign
Wan Bissaka joining West Ham for 18 mill. Good move for all sides concerned
Unfortunate but he’s 18 I think so can’t class him as injury prone yet and probably the best time to get an injury like that since there is no football yet and international break comes shortly after it all starts again plus no European games for awhile etc
