  • He's been on par with Chelsea's Robert Sanchez this season who is also shockingly mistake-prone for a 'top' team. At least they've had the foresight to kick him out of the team (even though the backup

For how we played for much of the game I never saw that result happening and was getting ready for penalties, it’s really something to see Liverpool being humbled by us again for such a big occasion as this. Now how will we build on this success…

That draw a reward for beating Liverpool. Hopefully Chelsea take out City but can't see it.

Mark Robins is going to do more interviews in the next few weeks about that goal he scored in the 90s than he has in the rest of his career combined isn't he

No complaints about the result tonight against Brentford cos that was probably our worst performance of the season so far and we really should have lost to be honest. We played like we were scared of Brentford and they dominated the match from start to finish. When Mason Mount scored I felt bad for Brentford so a few minutes later when they equalised I thought they deserved it. Aston Villa and Tottenham winning today makes this a bigger setback, after our last result this just shows the inconsistencies that have been there all season.

As always it's one step forward and two back.

Does also show why Brentford are in the position they are, atrocious finishing so we got away with it.

Yous were lucky to get a draw.

All focus on the cup for yous now imo!

Yeah that was an odd one. Absolutely played out all over the park and second best everywhere, which is strange considering how much of a fight the team put up against Liverpool. Some of it probbaly down to the international break, but most teams had to deal with that. Brentford under the lights is a tough game, but even so, that performance was terrible. I actually thought a draw was a fair result, Brentford's finishing was terrible. Pleased for Mount though, he took that goal really well.

This is all set up for Potter/Southgate to take over in the summer now and buying a load of mid-table English talent with Ashworth pulling the strings.

Ten Hag out.

At least you've got your first cup final this week against Liverpool, so guaranteed to play well.

That was absolutely hilarious though. Can't wait for the Gareth Southgate era now.

Can't wait for the Gareth Southgate era now.

Can’t see him wanting this job in a hurry knowing so many "big name managers" have tried and failed before him.

Ten Hag out now, not later.

He stays until May then you get your good old premier league back!

Don’t worry Houey you’ll beat us on Sunday and put us out of our misery!

Southgate in and Maguire reinstated as captain on a 500k a week contract!

Won't be too far away, with Ashworth at the helm you'll be sniffing around mid-tier/ untapped with potential English players as well. Can see the likes of Solanke, Gibbs-White, Toney, Dewsbury-Hall all being on the shopping list.

English player tax and Man United tax meaning we have to pay quadruple their value as well, the joy never ends!
