Lol. It's just a smart way of getting your name out there as a soloist, before releasing your own material. This will likely be a Jax Jones single more than a Jade feat. Jax Jones kinda single, anyway. Mel C and Emma Bunton literally did the same thing by collabing with someone before their proper solo releases :lol: Jesy went straight for the Mel B approach, but unfortunately for her, it backfired. Anyway, this way, she can release collabs with people whilst Perrie and Leigh embark on their solo journies first and then she'll have a decent enough profile, instead of just sitting at home biding her time to release her own material... This is a completely different approach compared to "her former band mate". Plus, Jade is actually a fan-favourite personality.

August 19, 20222 yr I'd rather her first release was a solo single tbh. I'm sure it will be a nice, faceless, generic Capital FM style bop that will go top 15 but I feel like her own release would be more of a moment. Meh.

August 19, 20222 yr for me - debuting as a Jax feature puts her in the same field as Ella Henderson, Mabel, Raye (prior to 'Hard Out Here), Becky Hill where they obviously have a small fan base but the majority of their hits aren't based on their contribution.

August 22, 20222 yr the article doesn't even mention when it's coming, it just says it'll be coming eventually + since Jade is debuting in 2023, it won't be for a while. for all we know her lead will be a solo song (considering some people have heard it) and the Jax Jones collab will either be a second single / EP track or something. also lol, collabs for group members going solo as their debut song is NOT out of the ordinary, so lets not act as if it's a desperate plea for a hit when non of LM3 have even got started yet.
August 23, 20222 yr Releasing a collab first makes total sense. It puts her name out in the public eye and charts as a solo artist while she spends time creating her own sound.
