  • He certainly does deserve a lot of credit but to see him lift the trophy in a parade would be very John Terry Champions League final 2012 🤣

Yeh they were massivrly up for it and thoroughly deserved to win. If anyone other than Liverpool I’m glad a team like Newcastle won it as it’s been so long!

  • Would have rathered Saudicastle don't win.. but we were awful. I've seen us lose finals before and it's part of football, but that was terrible. Newcastle fully deserved to win. Been coming, Slot has

Been coming, Slot has only used 12-13 players and our midfield couldn't lay a glove on them all game. The effects of the PSG game showed.

Quite funny that Madrid were saying they had the best RB in the world in Carvajal during the Balon D'or fallout whilst going after Trent all this time.

It’s not done yet. I think Romano has jumped the gun, will wait until Orny confirms.

Always highly likely though he was off. It’s been at least two years in the making and that last contact signed in 2021 was engineered. Not ideal really.

He is 33 now and Trent 26 so I guess both things can go together

Still think Salah is going to stay? They’re leaving it very late for him and VVD if they are

I’m not sure the hierarchy want either to stay. Virgil perhaps now, but I think Salah is gone as he’s too expensive. Possibly a mistake but I think we’ll just use it as an opportunity to refresh the squad.

If Trent, Salah and Virgil all leave this summer then Liverpool will definitely not retain the Premier League title next season.

Don't think you can say things like that in the current era. 85 points probably gets you the title at the moment. I think losing all 3 would be a big loss, but Salah and Virgil can't play forever and Trent has been gone for a long time. I think this would make Arsenal favourites next season for sure. But the one thing with Liverpool and with the guys who run the club, there is not a lot they have got wrong outside of the January 2021 transfer window. It's why I'm not too concerned really, although the biggest concern is Trent is our creative outlet so we need to replace that somehow.

Yeh, at the start of this season I didn’t think we would be 12 points clear in April so hard to tell what will happen.

I can personally see them all leaving including Allison, it’ll be like the summer of 1991 all over again ffs!

Arguably Liverpool’s best three players all leaving for free is a disaster. Allison and a few others will inevitably leave too. I don’t think Diaz wants to be in England and Nunez is the Uruguayan Andy Carroll. Jota is injury prone. Robertson doesn’t look very good anymore. Could be a tough future ahead for Liverpool

Diaz and Nunez have been dreadful this season. Jota hasn't been the same since his injury mid-season. If you ask any Liverpool fan, they wouldn't be unhappy to see any of those 3 leave. The rumours to Isak won't go away, although I'm sceptical we'd spend £100m if Salah stays.

Like all things players come to the end of the cycles and it's part of a re-build. Ultimately, my best guess is Salah and Van Dijk end up getting done, mainly because I think we end up doing too much in the summer.

So the midfield was updated two seasons ago and now our forward line will need updated lol

Salah signs a new two year contract!!

Surprising given the money on offer to him from Saudi, he must really love the club

He's clearly still got a few years left at elite level, I'm sure he can still get the Saudi move in his late 30s...
