Bellingham, do you think he'll join Liverpool?

At this point if he doesn't join our fans will riot. Not necessarily because of Bellingham but we've literally spent zero money vs other rivals and every single fan knew we needed to upgrade the midfield. Suspect the sticking point will be how we pay the fee to Dortmund, which is a huge joke in itself that we're in this predicament.

    Shocking news

  • He certainly does deserve a lot of credit but to see him lift the trophy in a parade would be very John Terry Champions League final 2012 🤣

Yeh they were massivrly up for it and thoroughly deserved to win. If anyone other than Liverpool I’m glad a team like Newcastle won it as it’s been so long!

There’s no way he will join if we don’t make the top 4?

Of course he will. Unlikely we will be out of the Champions League for long and it expands soon too with extra places. The sticking point will be the fee, which I imagine we will struggle to cobble together up=front without new investment.

They were staying in a hotel a couple hundred yards from me so I placed a curse on them :D

They tried a different hotel this time. It didn't work

We were much better this time though. Thought Brighton were lucky to get the win, draw was a fair result on the balance.

Fabinho has turned from one of the top 3 defensive midfielders in the world in to a drunk, Sunday league player. Not hard to see where our problems are, gonna be a long season until the summer.

I feel Klopp will quit soon but there is no way they would sack him, he earned the right to survive 1 bad season.
Looks like Liverpool have well and truly fallen off. Serves Cody Gakpo right!

Liverpool were conned based on a few goals in the group stage. As I said at the time he 2022's answer to James Rodriguez.

We'll come back. Not worried about that, just clear as day the team has run its course and is stuck in a horrible cycle. The lack of investment is really telling right now. Confidence is at rock bottom and cleary something is going on behind the scenes.
We can’t all just buy peak top players like Man U have consistently done while flopping for the last decade and pay them 400k a year!

Brazil forward Roberto Firmino is to leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been with the Reds since joining them in a £29m deal from Hoffenheim in June 2015.

Firmino has helped Liverpool win the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Anfield.

He has made 353 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 107 goals and providing 70 assists.

It is understood Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wanted Firmino to stay with the club and, while the player had been in discussions over a new contract, he has chosen to move on.

An absoute legend, but probably the right move. I'd have kept him on another 2 year contract, but he'll want one big contract at his age so it makes sense. I think our attack is OK with numbers and suspect Gordon and Doak will get minutes next season to cover the other five forwards.

Him, Mane and Salah together were something else.

Enjoyed that a lot - I've found the coverage this week very bad. Don't get me wrong it's been a terrible season and we have been dreadful at times, but we're only 3-4 players away imo from challenging again and a lot of our early season problems were down to injuries and a mental hangover from last season. We've got Chelsea, City and Arsenal straight after the international break, not easy, but we're looking much more solid these days.
Was indeed, I didn’t see the game but was a holy f*** moment when I checked the score at half 6 and saw it was 7-0
