WOW at the difference between Robyn almost spending a second week at #1 in 2007. :o

Lol Running Up That Hill even appearing in the retro lists as well now.

That week in 2017 would have been Despacito's final week at #1 if ACR didn't exist I do believe?

I'm surprised KSI's streaming was so poor last week.

2012

8- SIMPLY AMAZING- Trey Songz (28,323)

9- LANGUAGE- Porter Robinson (27,110)

Porter entering below that Trey Songz snooze fest still has to be one of the biggest chart injustices ever 10 years on..
Here for Diplo/Miguel getting a 4th consecutive week at #40 for the laughs, although I have a feeling it will be a few places higher going by the mids

With RUTH re-entering again and getting all the way to #1, is there any hope for One Day Like This to repeat lmao?

Also feels sadly appropriate to see Colourblind in the throwback charts this week. :( On a happier note, what a huge banger Round Round was and still is.

forget about today's chart, take me back 10 years to this-

9- LANGUAGE- Porter Robinson (27,110)

 the breakthrough of a modern day icon! (in retrospect it does feel odd now that Porter actually had a UK top 10 hit lmao)

Porter entering below that Trey Songz snooze fest still has to be one of the biggest chart injustices ever 10 years on..

Simply Amazing it certainly wasn't. <_<

Biography

Originating from Southampton but now located in Brighton – Caity Baser combines honest, no-holds-barred lyrics with lilting, catchy melodies resulting in uplifting pop songs with a real bite. Her lyrics are filled with British slang, often aimed squarely at those who have wronged her in her past. Of the mixtape, Caity says: “These songs and this mixtape mean everything to me. It literally describes my life the past year and a half and hearing all my thoughts and feelings put into 8 songs and explaining what I’ve gone through.. it just makes me feel so amazing! I’ve put so much love and fun into this and I hope people enjoy it as much as I loved making it.” Most of the ‘Lil CB’ mixtape was produced by acclaimed duo Future Cut, the production team behind many of Lily Allen’s early hits, and features live horn sections, reggae-inspired beats and retro, Motown guitars – all of which reflect Caity’s diverse musical influences from across the decades. Caity’s vocal style on the mixtape is dizzying in its range: From her quick talking, pseudo-rapping to full on pop melodies and vocal harmonies – despite the ‘Lil CB’ mixtape being her first material, it’s clear this is just the beginning of a long and varied artistic career for Caity Baser. Caity’s fanbase erupted late last year – literally overnight. After singing some lyrics and a melody she’d written over a jazz guitar loop and posting it on TikTok, she woke up to be greeted by over 1.2 Million likes of the video with it going viral. Fast forward to today and Caity Baser just can’t stop the lyrics and melodies from flowing. She followed ‘Average Student’ with her next single ‘Haters’, her first official music video. Her single ‘Say It Like That’ was recently made Record Of The Week by BBC Introducing Solent. She’s also been shown support on Radio 1 from Jack Saunders, as he featured her on Next Wave. She’s also had a feature in the Observer. - Chosen Music

I didn't need this repressed memory to be brought back

(But yeah it's quite a wonderful oddity to look back on Porter Robinson having a top 10 hit at all - my favourite song of the 2010s though so we love to see it  though I've never got nearly as into anything he's released since, 'Language' is of course pretty far away sonically from what he's been up to the last few years. Still making some good stuff, most recently have enjoyed his song for League of Legends that came out a few weeks back ~)

</3 at Darius passing right around the 20 year anniversary of his big hit.

I can't believe it's Scott's last show today.

Also, Ferrari for top 10.

Biography

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biːˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-YON-say; née Knowles; born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Beyoncé performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Their hiatus saw the release of her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003), which featured the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy".

Following the 2006 disbanding of Destiny's Child, she released her second solo album, B'Day, which contained singles "Irreplaceable" and "Beautiful Liar". Beyoncé also starred in multiple films such as The Pink Panther (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), Obsessed (2009), and The Lion King (2019). Her marriage to Jay-Z and her portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), which earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010. It spawned the successful singles "If I Were a Boy", "Single Ladies", and "Halo".

After splitting from her manager and father Mathew Knowles in 2010, Beyoncé released her musically diverse fourth album 4 in 2011. She later achieved universal acclaim for her sonically experimental visual albums, Beyoncé (2013) and Lemonade (2016), the latter of which was the world's best-selling album of 2016 and the most acclaimed album of her career, exploring themes of infidelity and womanism. In 2018, she released Everything Is Love, a collaborative album with her husband, Jay-Z, as the Carters. As a featured artist, Beyoncé topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the remixes of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran in 2017 and "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The same year, she released the musical film and visual album Black Is King to widespread acclaim.

Beyoncé is one of the world's best-selling recording artists, having sold over 120 million records worldwide as a solo artist by 2010. She is the first solo artist to have their first six studio albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200. Her success during the 2000s was recognized with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)'s Top Certified Artist of the Decade as well as Billboard's Top Female Artist of the Decade. Beyoncé's accolades include 28 Grammy Awards, 26 MTV Video Music Awards (including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 2014), 24 NAACP Image Awards, 31 BET Awards, and 17 Soul Train Music Awards; all of which are more than any other singer. In 2014, Billboard named her the highest-earning black musician of all time, while in 2020, she was included on Time's list of 100 women who defined the last century. - Wikipedia
