August 26, 20224 yr ..... One Point....ONE POINT?!  :cry: this is not my year for BJSC (and it started out so well!), I guess Desire are forever destined to bad luck here, but I...guess that's better than I expected given the predictions? I don't have a lot to complain about apart from that thankfully, only lost N DNTN who were my one pointer (I wasn't sure what to think, but it kind of won me over, reminded me a bit of that iconic Where's My Jool song from a while back x)

Pretty shocked at how badly Ultraviolenceland did too? Sounded like it should have been a pop bloc fave to me, but then that might just be further proving how out of touch I am with the pop bloc x Thanks for the hostings Cody anyway despite the blood pressure spikes xx

I forgot how fun and nail-biting it was to watch semis live, things were extremely close to the bitter end. Which makes me even more terrified if there were any mistakes... 6 out of the 20 songs I voted for were booted so it looks like I'm trawling through my honorable mentions again :blink:

Sent this entry now because I didn't have a Q streak to put at risk, and ended up getting through anyway, cool beans :cool:Â East Rukahavian was my 10-pointer so I'm gutted it missed out by just a point :( My 12 was pretty firm though, so unlikely I'd have given it those 2 extra points, but still a bummer. The only other one I lost was my 1-pointer Mulgracia. Otherwise happy with the results!

Thank you, that's a really nice surprise :D I thought there was no way, such to the point when reading through just now I was hoping for the 20th one to be 'Shadowplay' (big shame that that one just missed out, as it was my 12, but I couldn't have done anything more to help it) 12 Aelandor • GOOSE - Shadowplay 03 Singerpurear • R.A.F. - We've Got To Live Together 02 Utopia • Sinead O'Brien - Like Culture quite unexpected to see Singerpurear out too, and quite a few interesting ones from semi 1 also gone (Eastovka, N DNTN, Skall, Terra Avium, Taahino), but I think my absolute favourites from a skim listen of semi 1 are safely through, so very good results on the whole.
