Her best album, don't care what others say. In a few years everyone will see it.

I deffo agree about the 13 tracks being fine. 20 too many.

I noticed some people have listened to them as different collections which might be an idea.

Still not competely in love with the album, for me it's more "like" than "love" at the moment

But I'm more into her grown-up stuff like Folklore, I prefer when she gets more serious, both lyrically and musically

but especially the lyrics and more when she dwells into relationships than the usual topics already exhausted in Reputation/Lover

and that she's using here once again, wish she explored new topics lyrically

For me, there is nothing at the same level of Exile/Cardigan, or even Betty/Something New/Champagne Problems/August/Illicit Affairs/Invisible String/This is me Trying

and I have to admit I am very disappointed at how little Lana is present in the duet, she should be more in the front

and at least sing the bridge... wasted opportunity imho

Uff these last three albums are the PITS. Super inauthentic and just the same song repwated ad naseum. Get back to the bops!!!!

Folklore.. pits?

The great thing about an artist like Taylor is how she understands her own artistic growth & probably doesnt need to reproduce Shake it Off for mass appeal.

I agree ^

I feel she’s reached a stage in her career where she’s given up on trying to produce songs that will be sure fire commercial smashes, she’s just using music as an outlet and to tell stories. She’s built up a big enough fan base over the last 16 years that regardless of whether there’s a massive hit attached to the album, she will still blow pretty much any modern day artist out of the water with sales.

I love that there’s 20 songs - especially such high quality right the way through. I don’t feel the need to get to the end each time (although I have a few times) - I just pick up the album wherever I leave it each time.

Is it true there’s a hidden track on the CDs? Maybe I missed someone saying this before.

I loved the folk eras - I’m probably one of the only people who prefers Evermore over Folklore.

But I also love that this album is a progression from 1989, Reputation and Lover. It’s drawn on sounds from those albums and it’s like, hello, I’m your older sister…

Not as far as I'm aware... the Lavender deluxe CD (a Target exclusive in the US) has "Hits Different" which isn't out digitally (yet!) and it's apparently very good. I'm saving it though!

Oh my god, Hits Different (the Target exclusive track) is giving me New Romantics little sister.. I love it!

This is probably my favourite track.. I can see why it wasn’t on the original album because it doesn’t really fit the theme, but what a song!

Hopefully the target exclusive track will be available to steam / purchase separately at some point!!

My friend must be wrong about the hidden track on the CDs!

I know what you mean - it feels like old Taylor pure pop !

I'm guessing it'll happen at some point over the next few weeks when she's looking to boost sales & keep album stable, as did happen with both folklore and evermore!

Do we know what the 2nd music video is going to be on Tuesday? If not, any guesses?

I feel like it'll be Lavender Haze.. maybe she's waiting to see what song has the best reaction and will release that? Seems like that's doing the best on streaming right now, even more so than Anti-Hero although hard to tell until they combine the streams with 2 versions of everything!

In other news, I did a 5 hour drive yesterday and had the album on the whole time, and I've decided my favourite is 'Question...?'

My Jade Green vinyl turned up today  the pressing is gorgeous.

(still need to give it a spin but I have heard 'Anti-Hero' a couple of times on the radio and it sounded great!)
