Oh wow! I'd love her to hit 200k but I think she's going to fall just short :(

My signed moonstone blue CD arrived on Monday! I went out into London yesterday to try and get the other three variants (wasn't expecting to get the Lavender deluxe as it was sold out on HMV's website). HMV Westfield and Fopp Covent Garden had NO Midnights CDs at all though, they'd all sold out! Rough Trade East surprisingly had just one copy left - the Lavender deluxe, so I snapped that up. Will wait for payday to order the remaining three now but that shows just how quickly this album's selling!!! There were some a decent amount of vinyl left but I was gobsmacked at how few CDs were left!

Yup, I spoke to an employee at HMV Westfield and he said that every time they put new CDs out, they're gone incredibly quickly! There were no CDs when I went there, and only 4 vinyl copies. Insane!

What's wrong with swearing in songs

There is a clean version of the Moonstone Blue edition CD - can be bought here on her official UK store.

Well I don’t want to hear vile language when I’m listening to a CD. It was never done in the 80s when some of the best music around was ever released and it’s not nice to hear and completely ruins a good song.

Oh god, I think I’m about to purchase the rest to make a clock

DO IT :cheeseblock:

She's such a f*cking genius cuz I really thought i would stick with half of the clock...

Why does Taylor hold her pen like that? https://slate.com/culture/2022/10/taylor-sw...pen-photos.html

Which song on Midnights is for you based on your zodiac sign? https://stylecaster.com/zodiac-signs-taylor...nights/#slide-2 (mine is Mastermind)

Obviously I went straight to the zodiac sign and not surprised I came out with vigilante shit - I mean

Leo: Vigilante Shit

“Draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill a man.” No one can cat-eye like you can but when push comes to shove… you don’t get mad, you get even. Be it with your fierce sunkissed glow, or the fashion game you’re slaying during your night out, you always bring it, Leo. You also have no problem cutting people off when needed, even if that means having to re-record six of your albums to put a record executive in his place. Catch my drift?

Disagreed

Sometimes it can be an effective emphasiser.

I think Vigilante Shit is my least favourite on the entire album. It's so try-hard and I can't listen without cringing massively. Away from that though, pretty much everything else (including the 3am) tracks continues to grow and grow.

Yeah I feel like this. I’ve got into the habit of skipping:

Vigilante Shit, Glitch & Dear Reader.

'Glitch' is my skip for the album. 'Vigilante Shit' is definitely bottom 3 too (including 3am) but I can still listen to it.

I love this entire album and after a week of only listening to this album pretty much, it's still just growing and growing on me. I have a new favourite nearly every day lmao. Today it's 'Bigger Than The Whole Sky'. Especially after seeing that it's resonating hard with people who have suffered the loss of an unborn child </3

It’s all I’ve listened to all week and my fav changes daily too

I’m just getting in those last minute streams for week one lol

Global Spotify streams for the first week:

Day 1: 184.6M (last Friday)

Day 2: 117.3M

Day 3: 99.1M

Day 4: 106.4M

Day 5: 96.5M

Day 6: 89.2M

Day 7: 82.9M (yesterday)

Total: 776.4M streams

folklore did 80.6M on its first day... :cheeseblock:
