Rumours now that UK4 will be delayed airing due to Lizzy leaving the mortal coil

It seems like the mourning period will last until about the end of the month so I'd say a two week delay at least. I'm assuming it will roll out WW on WowPresents still, as it's a series starting and it's BBC3's big flagship show really, I don't know whether that will happen but we'll see, as it's a local franchise of a WOW property it could be that they still air it WW and obviously the BBC just catch up after - they will likely put 2 or 3 episodes on when they can. Wouldn't it be weird being behind the rest of the world for our own Drag Race :lol:

I wonder if they might halt it all over to edit out "her majesty already done had herses" at the start of every ep.

I don't see why it has to be delayed unless to maybe edit a number of references to the Queen. In all honestly I don't see why there needs to be a complete overhaul/mourning period on TV for the next few weeks in the first place. They could quite easily just reduce any reruns of shows/reduce the amount of news scheduled to fill that in with documentaries/obituaries about the Queen. Instead of impacting ongoing/new TV series.

Yeah I agree, and even if there is references so what? :lol: Nothing is going to be like anti monarchy or disrespectful to her, but I get it as the BBC they do have to be careful and there's protocol around her death and the following weeks. Tbh even if there is references I expect they can make cuts quite quickly ad hoc the week the episode airs as the US show did with Sherry, for example as it would only be the odd thing, unless someone has done her for Snatch Game or something :lol:

Looks like it is airing on the 22nd after all, it's a shame there's been less promo really but it will still do well ofc.

I'm sad there doesn't seem to be any Scottish queen's again this year

2 in one season was too much for the BBC
