Hot Hits (& todays top hits) now seem to show songs in a customised order depending on the user! (Unless 2 be loved & she’s all I wanna be have just been made the top 2 on hot hits, which I highly doubt 😂)
I'd say no, as he asked to be woken up at the end of September.

Honestly, we should start a campaign for this to be an annual hit on 31st Aug/1st Sept and then we can campaign for Hilary Duff 'Wake Up' to be the annual hit on 30th Sept x

My top 2 rn on HHUK are Lewis & Eliza Rose... no thank youuuuu! :lol:

 

(I have BLACKPINK & David Guetta/Bebe on TTH - not heard David/Bebe yet & have barely played BLACKPINK in favour of Rina this week :lol:)

Top 2 on HHUK is Lewis Capaldi and I'm Good as far as I can see. If that's customised then it's a fail because i've only listened to the Capaldi song twice on Spotify in curiosity streams AFAIK.

 

TTH is showing Blackpink and I'm Good as the top 2.

Lol i'm guessing my Spotify just hasn't updated yet then because Turn On The Lights is at #31 and Arctic Monkeys at #45 on HHUK while My G which I don't think i've played once is up at #13. :lol:
I actually think that's a good idea if they do update Hot Hits / Today's Top Hits to be catered to people's taste, including songs they love and play a lot as well as songs that are new to them but in line with their taste. It could hopefully allow for a more varied chart but that's wishful thinking probably.

Surely if the lists are now customised songs that you never listened to could still be high up if Spotify predicts you'd like it? They already have other playlists like the On Repeat playlist which is made up of the songs you listen to a lot recently. But their other playlists like the radio playlists and genre playlists (which are decided by an algorithm for each user) are a mix of songs you listen to and ones you don't listen to but they think you might like.
Ed Sheeran’s just announced a new single for next Thursday! It’s titled ‘Celestial’, and it’s being released as a tie in for the new Pokémon games.

Just noticed that the Throwback Thursday playlist has 'Wake me up when September ends' as track 2, so you might see a resurgence for it tomorrow after all.

 

'Sweater Weather' is track 6 so that might get another big boost too.

For me I keep seeing the playlist switching between the previously 'set' order and the supposedly curated one. Annoyingly so is New Music Friday in the middle of me listening to it <_<
