I would offer four alternatives: we have different ways of recording the dates of a No 1 - I use the days when the public actually bought the songs rather than "week-ending" [This changes quite a few "Christmas No 1's...!]

So:

Harold Wilson (1) - There's Always Something There to Remind Me (Sandie Shaw)

Harold Wilson (2) - Billy, Don't Be a Hero (Paper Lace)

Tony Blair - Love Won't Wait (Gary Barlow)

Boris Johnson - Senorita (Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello)

Only for interest, I'm not saying who is right or wrong!

Ha! Well that’s certainly a more suitable one for Boris. Less so for Blair. The Wilson ones are more cryptic but I’m sure you could make some sort of story there.
Sorry guys - thought you’d be able to Google the dates yourselves, my mistake 😆😆

Don't worry about that, I'm not bothered about the dates to be honest.

No one is, that was just Hadji clutching for a reason to justify why he made a post that was identical to the OP.

But they weren't officially recorded #1s yet, probably only midweek #1s at that point.

George Michael's Star People '97 was actually the midweek leader over the Gary Barlow song. I guess that's appropriate for Blair, a perceived star at the time of election and not so much later.
Don't tell Liz Truss about the final track on the current #1 album

 Very fitting

Apt title for Truss. Not so much for Johnson.
I think Hadji is currently hiding in a fridge to avoid further questioning.

I’m still here and I’m going nowhere 😜
