It sounds so generic :nocheer:

I almost don’t want to hear the full song as I know it’s gonna be bad.

Clearly Alok is working his way through the “Ell” names for now, having collaborated with Ella Eyre and Ellie Goulding… so we all know who’s next on his bucket list.

The Tory "supporter"? :w00t:

I like Ellie’s vocals on it but it relies so heavily on the sample sksksksksk.

Easily the worst thing Ellie has ever released :/ sad to see :/
A lil bit off topic but my friend worked with Ellie at a charity event recently and she was very rude to the staff there. It was such a shame to hear as I’ve always kept up with her music.
The use of the sample is all kinds of horrible too, actually shocked Depeche Mode approved it

I think Ellie has been involved in and released worse than this... Worry About Me, On My Mind, the Clean Bandit one, the Kygo one and some of the absolute shockers on Delirium just off the top of my head.

But yeah, if this does well when 'Easy Lover' couldn't even chart I will be VERY pissed off.

Well it isn't the first time they approved of it for a dance hit

The sample is everything. I can see this becoming a hit thanks to it.
OK I changed my mind I think it's pretty good but all these dance tracks using popular songs as samples without much creativity does feel lazy. My favourite Ellie song is still "Outside".
I didn't even pick up on 'Enjoy The Silence' being sampled on this until half way through. Eh it's ok I suppose but again could do with something more inspired.
