September 24, 20222 yr Author Iirc, it's partly down to the artists who can afford to do it and can negotiate. I presume Taylor always felt like it was never the right time/didn't really have much of an interest then? Now, she wants to do it, but not until her re-recorded albums are finished (it makes sense considering the boost every artists discography has right after performing)

Imagine she’s very busy at the moment and she’ll probably want to promote it all once it’s all out. She’s a smart cookie. I bet it will be amazing when she does do it. Also iirc she was unable to do it whilst Pepsi were the sponsors of the super bowl (due to her deal with Coca Cola) Gutted that she’s not doing it this year but so excited for Rihanna!! And honestly I think the rejection articles were a soft confirmation that she’s doing it as soon as the re-recordings are done, so hopefully in the next few years!
