^^

I would second those but swap Roy Orbison for London Boys (which was my first album   )

I'd also second You Keep It All In by the Beautiful South, Souvenir by OMD or Kate Bush This Woman's Work

Edit - just realise my plea wasn't even released in this period

my suggestions

Billy Idol - Eyes Without A Face (or Rebel Yell or White Wedding)

Kate Bush - This Woman's Work

OMD - Enola Gay

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Enola Gay (from #2 album The Best Of)

Pet Shop Boys - Left To My Own Devices (from #2 album Introspective)

Roy Orbison - A Love So Beautiful (from #2 album Mystery Girl)

Neneh Cherry - Buffalo Stance (from #2 album Raw Like Sushi)

London Boys - Requiem (from #2 album The Twelve Commandments Of Dance, at the repeated insistence of dandy*)

Kate Bush - This Woman's Work (from #2 album The Sensual World)

The Beautiful South - You Keep It All In (from #2 album Welcome To The Beautiful South) *

Dr. Feelgood - Sneakin' Suspicion (RIP Wilko Johnson)

Irene Cara - Out Here On My Own (RIP)

* was initially played as a bonus track this week before I realised it would get a play from Carry On Up The Charts - The Best Of, played 'I'll Sail This Ship Alone' in its place in week 12

Some better discoveries again this week, standouts for me being Iron Maiden, New Order, Gloria Estefan And Miami Sound Machine (though not so much the other Gloria song), Deacon Blue, Soul II Soul and Tears For Fears/Oleta Adams plus another great Pet Shop Boys track in the bonuses. And I guess 'Requiem' being played will be a memorable moment :kink: Discoveries aside, also loved getting to play 2 excellent Erasure songs

On the flipside, I could have gone without hearing that Holly Johnson solo track, and a bit of a stinker from Paul McCartney too whoops.

Lots of highlights specially Transvision Vamp and Tracy Chapman for me

An RIP slot on the way for Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. </3 Thinking 'Songbird' maybe?
Team Landslide, best FM song ever, so sure you'll pick the other one ;D

Landslide was sang by Stevie Nicks ^

Songbird is lovely anyhow so would welcome a play of that.

'Dreams' was already played

(and yes I was suggesting 'Songbird' because it was written and sung by Christine, but of course open to any other suggestions x)

Oh! I always assumed Landslide was sung by Christine as it just sounds like her kind of song… but yes if that was Stevie then Songbird would be obviously better!
Ps Bré I will not be having you pretending that you weren’t bopping like your rave cat gif to London Boys

Dreams was written and sung by Stevie Nicks and already played.

Songbird is the obvious choice - RIP Christine

I don't really want to do shorter sessions - I could maybe start an hour earlier if there's a great demand for people to focus on the England match but people seem to have been fine with multitasking when football has been on during these sessions before. (though a bit short notice for that now)

I kinda want to make a rare self suggestion to play Big Country - In A Big Country from their greatest hits, as it's a tune that I'm not sure many people know based on when I brought it up when playing a song from their actual #1 album. (Only if someone seconds that suggestion though x)

Don't all rush to nominate Rod Stewart...
