It's between Applause and Venus for me The former should NEVER have been lead single and got the sales/live performances/promo the other songs deserve and the former is seemingly beloved by some fans and Gaga herself going on how hard she was pushing for it at the time of the album's release. I can't decide which is more overrated - help please x

'Dope' because it snatched a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 position but I'm not a fan :ph34r:

! Dope deserved that top 10 and more :coffee: I'm not sure how rated the song is in the fanbase though. I mean, I totally ADORE it and it's a true gem on the album for me, but I think I'm on my own on that one :kink:

I like it, but it's quite generic for the love it receives.

 

Tbh tho, the entire album is overrated by fans. It's horrendous. I listen to 5 songs on this album but the others are pure trash and unlistenable to me :drama:

I had no idea Dope was a top ten hit in the US, that feels so random Dope and MJH are the only skips on ARTPOP for me (though ofc they have their moments), I'd say all the other album tracks are underrated!

Venus for me, I find it a bit jarring and no way it deserved to be included in the Coachella set.

I had no idea Dope was a top ten hit in the US, that feels so random Dope and MJH are the only skips on ARTPOP for me (though ofc they have their moments), I'd say all the other album tracks are underrated!

 

It got there for one week. It was an insta grat or pre order single. Totally artificial top 10.

 

Venus is TRASH too and overrated. In fact, almost every song is overrated by the very nature of the album being so terrible!
