As its so long since a Kylie did so well i do wish they would throw the iamspamspamamisink at it now to up its sales and get the highest peak it can. Ideally next week they would have vinyl and 1 or 2 more remixes to give it that last push before it starts to fade. Long term outside of a new peak I hope it has a nice long chart runs it can eventually give her a platinum single.

I dont think it will fade. its only 11 weeks until the album, it should stay around.

 

The more remixes, the more playlists, the more media coverage the better.

I think BMG have plenty left for Padam and its longevity. Its only just gone to radio in the States and only just hitting Europe. UK will be fine also.

Number 8 today is really good! I would love to see the figures though. We know that BMG can have an impact on the final day if they want to! So if the new remix came out mid week, that would be great.

 

Cruel Summer is doing well across the board so is likely to climb above it.

 

Peggy Gou - is strong everywhere apart from Amazon. She is likely to be doing better than she seems so should climb above it as well.

 

REACT - seems to be marginally above Kylie everywhere, but hopefully Kylie’s downloads will keep her ahead.

 

D Block Europe - I would assume the fact that they have fallen since yesterday means they will not be above Kylie. But we also know that rap music strengthens as the week goes on as Amazon data becomes less important. They aren’t in the top 100 of Amazon - so that is a massive drawback for them, but we can always get a surprise from them on Friday.

 

I’m just hoping that Harry Styles and 0800 Heaven are too far behind.

 

I’m still going for #10 (being hopeful). Any additional new mixes released this week will help cement that position, or possibly ensure that Kylie is at #7 or #8.

I'm thinking it'll at least be a million seller, most songs that go top 10 and have a decent chart run are these days (which I guess in a way devalues the achievement, but I won't be complaining)

To put into perspective,

 

To reach gold by the end of the year at this point it needs to sell only 10.6k per week averagely, to reach platinum — 18.3k per week. The latter doesn’t look possible, unless it gets a strong second wind, but the former will easily be achieved.

 

For 500k by the end of the year this needs averagely 14.4k per week. This would be touch and go, but also possible.

 

Regardless, at this speed it would be only a matter of time when it will reach 1m. To early to tell, but so far looks like 2025 will be the year for that.

Once it does leave the top 10 it will sell loads in the 11 to 40 range for a long time huns.
