Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

Thank you! 870 copies ahead of last Monday's figure. Streaming is 614 sales ahead of last Monday too.

11th best seller yesterday makes me feel nervous though 🤓

Also these figures for other positions was just shared:

1) 21,057 - Dave

2) 18,565 - Olivia

3) 12,088 - J Hus

4) 11,572 - Calvin

5) 10,309 - Jazzy

6) 9,581 - Hannah

7) 9,331 - Rudimental

8) 9,019 - Kylie

9) 8,972 - Taylor

10) 8,842 - Peggy

11) 8,708 - Switch Disco

12) 8,430 - D-Block Europe

13) 8,181 - Harry Styles

14) 7,628 - Nathan Dawe

15) 7,197 - Jorja Smith

1,290 behind #5 makes me wish there was a new physical

More than that, I wish there was no Jazzy :puke2: :puke2:

I've still not heard Jazzy's song! Maybe it's a case of me living under a rock but it doesn't feel like it's had anywhere near the "cultural impact" of Padam Padam, and yet it's coming for a 5th consecutive week in the Top 5. I only heard Dave/Central Cee's #1 single for the first time today and... well... I'm very out of step with the people who are loving that one, let's just say that. :o Coming for a 5th week at #1, really?

Hopefully the Jax Jones remix will be droped to 59p tomorrow, maybe drop an instrumental to Kylie.com on Wednesday for 59p and then the Absolute on Friday at 59p on Itunes

Great to see it was number 11 for the day! Though quite precarious. And streaming being ahead of last Monday - a lot of that must be due to the remix, though let’s hope that it keeps it up and posts a streaming increase week on week.

Without any extra impetus, I’d say it would end up number 11 or 12. Taylor will catch up on no time - probably Peggy too (though thanks to Amazon, Kylie could always hold her off for a few more days). But Switch Disco are generally ahead of Kylie on streaming so should catch up soon too. And if D Block Europe hold strong, they would overtake Kylie on Friday when the final Spotify data is added.

I’m looking at the worst case scenario though. Hopefully something will happen to increase Kylie’s sales like in several of the previous weeks.

It's more like you getting old. I rarely pay attention to new hits either until I accidentally hear them on my local radio station (which seems about six months behind most of the time).

I do feel Spotify must have a lot of free users so many artists have a lot of free streams rather than Amazon and Apple and that's helping Kylie because she is higher on those streaming sites.

She is also 7,22,44,127 on Itunes which helps as well as other download sites building up sales even if tiny

Plus her video on YouTube collects a few sales

I would look at the 59p versions, list them and ask fans to all download one 59p version extra this week!

Reduce the versions available to 59p and Amazon ones to 69p. Anne-Marie is doing better on there because of that.

The Absolute remix is good but probably only going to be released to give him a bit of exposure and Kylie some extra downloads that week. He will also no doubt promote it more than Jax seems to have lol

He has less than 100k of Spotify followers but could still get on some playlists and also on a CD of the remixes.

If as BMG say she is trying to conqueror USA with Padam Padam then I think a feature is inevitable over there

Added to Lorem Spotify Playlist. 1m likes, it's number 1 for me.

Also on Dance Top Hits, 840k likes

Norway

4 Itunes

28 Apple Music

113 Shazam

175 Spotify

Could it chart next in the Scandanavian country

7 on Amazon Music, think that is a new peak.

Pity she cannot get on Spotify Todays Top Hits. If she did she would be charting in multiple countries top 200s

At this point it's probably earning more Spotify streams from the US than the UK. It earned 2.4 million streams there the week before this one (so around 350,000 streams a day), and the number 200 on Spotify US has 350,000 streams on average. Considering the other big platforms in the US are Apple Music and Amazon Music (both of which are mostly dominated by local acts), the bulk of Kylie's streams there probably come from Spotify. That could be anywhere between 200,000 and 250,000 streams. Comparatively her biggest day on Spotify UK was with 175,000 streams.

This means that between a third and a quarter of Padam's total consumption is coming from the US, much higher than those for any Kylie single in the streaming era.

Most definitely but still looks like it will need a push to help it. Today's Top Hits with 33m likes is a huge playlist to get on.

We don't know what has planned with Spotfiy fingers crossed itsbig

I still seem to have access to 3 different Amazon streaming charts! I really don’t know what the difference is between them.

At present PP is at #7; #8 and #12.

The charts on which she is at number 7 for me, she has been at number 7 a couple of times before when I’ve looked at it - but no higher. Amazon is the one chart at which she is still more or less at her peak, and I guess is why at this stage her streams seem to have gone up week on week.
