Well... I obvs don't work for a record label, but I would have thought they would try to squeeze every last drop out of Padam.

 

Moving on to Single 2 doesn't make sense just yet. It probs won't make the Top 40 anyway, but it will get swallowed up by everyone still listening to Padam. It's not like this is the start of Kylie having constant big hits... its a one-off that they need to ride until it falls over.

We have one insider here saying nothing else is planned but an insuder on sayhey that for weeks has said there is a vinyl coming but it was originally due to be released the week of the album and they were investigating if they could bring it forward at all huns...

 

Both statements are quite conflicting my huns

 

I guess time will tell and we will all find out soon enough huns

 

I just want this song to be pushed as much as possible as this is a one off and there will be no other songs on the album that catch on like this one has huns

Just downloaded from iTunes - couldn’t find it on there last night.

A third week on the Radio 1 C-list. I have a few thoughts on this, one being I'm not surprised it hasn't moved up as I do think Radio 1 playlisted it to silence the ageism complaints and because it was becoming too much of a hit to ignore. However I can also imagine fans have stopped requesting it now that it's on the playlist (and I also think a lot of fans were passed caring whether they playlisted it or not given it became such a hit regardless) so there's not as much reason to move it up any further.

Sales wise it has held steady though. Taylor Swift has had huge media attention here in the last 7 to 10 days, with the end result being 10 songs above Kylie. (13 songs in the top 50 overall)

 

A majority of those will be gone next week and Kylie will probably move back up the charts with the likelyhood of increased sales

BMG aren't the sort of label to keep things dragging on, they seem to be all about maximum push when things are fresh and new and then move on.

 

This week seems like the last for them putting extra effort in. So it would be nice if we could get it back top 10 for one last week?

5,9,49,52, 114,123 is a good start on Ituens for the day.

 

Taylor songs are coming though and rising in the top 100.

 

Kylie & BMG still not tweeted/Instagram about the Itunes/EP for Absolute......... so it could still move further up from 9th

 

This week looks like it should be a good week if we get consistent streaming and purchasing of the mixes etc

Well I've done 6 on Amazon and a couple on iTunes today. I'll do more as the week goes on if needed.

Don't forget to stream each mix 10 times each per day.

I agree - there is only so long they can keep throwing out remixes etc., and if a vinyl is not coming then they just need to let it do its thing now, it’s been bigger than anyone could’ve imagined so everything is a bonus now.

 

I’m sure BMG will want to shift the focus over to pre-orders too rather than releasing endless versions of PP.

I am not sure hun because they did one for SS, Magic and RG and they all sold out very quickly, so for the newer singles there is a big market hun. I think they have just planned to release it around the album time not realising how big padam padam hun would be.

 

And I believe it is probably difficult to bring production of a vinyl so much more forward due to others being in preoduction hun.
