So they have released the extended mix video, I have not bought that yet but I might buy it today depending what the mids say. I hope cassettes are added on today so we can see where this places her. I just think a lot of fans have really pushed themselves to try to gain sales as much as they can for Padam Padam. I think if it gets top 10, it is just one less stress. June 15, 20232 yr ^^ I’m not ‘stopping’ at Top 10 but when/if it does reach Top 10 it’s time for the GP to take over! I’ve bought 12 physicals and 40+ downloads, I’m done - let the casual fans and GP take it further :lol: At this point I’d be ecstatic with a #10.
June 15, 20232 yr Yeah I'm the same, it's not like I'll suddenly stop caring about how Padam Padam does if it makes the Top 10. But Top 10 feels like the huge goal and would be a massive accomplishment! So we could relax slightly, and like ___∆___ says, let it do what it's going to do with the general public. We'll no doubt keep streaming, but the hardcore fans are a drop in the ocean in relation to the reach the song currently has anyway. We're just currently trying to make a difference when the sales gaps in the midweeks are so low. If there ended up being any more physicals, no doubt we'll all buy those too :cool:
June 15, 20232 yr Yeah, I'll be like job done, and I know that the song has the support and popularity to continue it's own journey and stick around for a while so I won't be too stressed. I'll still follow though of course, it's still exciting she has a hit, but SO many still live in the ages where they see a song missing the top 10 as something that's NOT a hit (which isn't true), so I'd like it to get that benchmark. The only other time I'd be stressed is if it was circling #1, but I can't see things getting to that point.
